It took a late goal from Anthony Stokes to secure Celtic’s win at Tannadice in August. That led to a five match unbeaten run for Dundee United, which ended two weeks ago at Pittodrie before Inverness knocked 10-man United out of the League Cup on Tuesday with a 120th minute goal.
Jackie McNamara has stabilised his team and they are likely to finish in the top three this season, but the defeat on Tuesday, which led to a storm of controversy over the behaviour of Nadir Ciftci, will be a major challenge ahead of United’s trip to Celtic Park. The champions should win comfortably.
There was little glibness evident in The Herald’s sombre interview with Dave King, published this morning. Despite apparently getting along famously with antagonists on either of Rangers International shareholding, he was unable to reach a deal, perhaps because he didn’t speak to the Organ Grinder behind the club playing in Rangers colours.
Indeed, neither King, nor anyone else trying to oust, or do a deal with, the current board, knows the ultimate beneficiary behind Blue Pitch Holdings et al. Is it you? It’s not me, but I suppose that’s what everyone is saying right now.
That question, is the only show in town.
King wrapped up his comments to The Herald by saying “Over the last two years we have all witnessed the destructive value when individuals, who should be putting the club first, advance personal agendas through the media in an attempt to influence the most important stakeholder in Rangers Football Club – the fans”.
Self-awareness is a rare thing.
Mr King is 100% correct on the destructive influence those who have divided his new favourite club have had. Without the modestly self-named Blue Knights causing ultimately unproductive havoc, Charles Green’s consortium would surely not have over-paid and under-charged, leading to the situation King believes could lead to administration. The question now for those on the outside is, do they have the votes, or are they just peeing on the Broxy Bear Burgers?

Are moonhowlers only classed as moonhowlers if they howl Monday- Thursday between midnight and 08 am?
Or is it possible to ask for temporary moonhowler membership if someone signs me in, like now?

Ok mate , same to you and Hail Hail .
Why don’t we have a rep on the board? What’s the problem with that? Is it the fat cats fleecing the daft cash cows?
I would like a Celtic football rep on the board to ensure that correct Governance is being adhered to and that ALL shareholders suggestions, thoughts and wishes are taken into account.
After the Celtic support are the club, those that are steering the club are doing a grand job, commendable job in fact but why would they not want a supporter rep on the board?
We have internal walls to crumble as well as the unsavoury orange lodge running the sfa and the ref association of cheats.
Scottish football, is it any wonder these clowns have us in the international backwater.

FGF, I’m good bud, looking forward to my day in fun city later.
I asked last night if there was any news on the condition of K.C. I’ve not seen anything posted to say if he’s trained yet since his injury.
Heard anything?

Don’t worry we wont lose OldTim – he’s part of the touring party all armed with; maps, compasses and balls of string!
Positive this is going to be a hoot – 4 of us arriving from different directions – the rendezvous – stuff that’s already got lost in translation with the landlord (ask TET :-)). Not sure what ACGR is bringing with him?
Hope I’m home for Christmas!
:-)
blantyretim is praying for the knox family
Take care and see you soon .
HH
A wee rant there but my point re a Celtic supporter on the board is valid, we need to ensure the people who are temporarily in post are acting for the benefit of the supporter as we as the shareholder.
2 hr cycle, early tomorrow so Vmhan Offski

It’s in the Merchant city but it’s tickets and sold out. Wasn’t trying to tease you. I was curious. There will be one or two CQNers going I’d imagine. There is a chance I that ‘may’ have a spare. I wont know until tomorrow.

Will you be joining us in the Kerrydale suite?
The sevco’s come and they go………………..but the constant in all of this is who owns the bricks and mortar?
My money remains on a Craigie boy holding company with a floating charge over the whole kibosh by Ticketus…….its a no brainer really.
13.3M in “other operating costs” tells the story I think…….
