More injuries and set-piece woes for Spartak

1051

Just as Celtic’s injury problems appear to be lifting Spartak Moscow’s are getting more acute each passing game.  Their cult-hero goalkeeper, Andriy Dykan, was substituted after picking up an injury in yesterday’s win against 10-man Amkar Perm and is unlikely to face Celtic.  Already injured, Pareja, Welliton, Parshivlyuk, Jurado and Romulo, never made the squad.

The goal Spartak lost to ninth-place Amkar, is worthy of note.  It was the eighth goal they have lost to a set piece in the last 10 games.  Celtic have been particularly effective from set pieces in Europe already this season and will see an opportunity in corners and free kicks deep in opposition territory.

Tuesday is the day…..

  1. Absolutely brilliant news that the target has been reached for the Wee Oscar appeal!!!

Massive well done to all involved and all who contributed

    Hail Hail to Wee Oscar,

  2. Benthebishop

I hope someone will provide an indepth analysis but my initial scan highlights just how much the administrators, legal costs are compared to what was paid to creditors.

As usual RFC (IA) have stiffed the ordinary creditor in much the same way they completely disregarded the rules.

    D&P circa 3.5 million

    Biggart Baillie circa 600k

    Taylor Wessing circa 1.7 million

    Media Hous >100k

    Mind boggling

  3. Superb job done by D&P – a trading shortfall of £4 million in just over 7 months. They certainly earned their fee.

Great news on the wee Oscar appeal!

  5. The Joint Administrators have adjudicated on these claims and confirmed to HMRC that for voting purposes, their claim will be admitted for voting purposes at

    £94,426,217.22.

Surely they know what HMRC are claiming. The bill excludung penalties will have been issued and the amounts discussed in their appeal?

  6. I agree, Kris Commons was chopped as he was about to score in the first half, and immediately claims foul. Not surprising that Ian Brines ‘didn’t see it’ or that the commentator

even with the benefit of replay still didn’t, spot it.

We all know that when the game was won at 2-0 Ian Brines balanced it up, when he gave the other stonewaller Celtic penalty, as these things always balance themselves out.

  9. Ah, Duff and Phelps – ‘member them?

The only administrators I’ve known who sanctioned more spend when they co-signed the documents for Daniel Cousin…

What’s that? Administration you say eh? Not enough money to pay your way you say? Let’s then work for all those poor souls due money and… Sign another player we (sic) can’t afford.

Duff and Phelps, what a bunch of great guys. Impartial throughout.

    My ass!

And haven’t ticketus been quiet as of late?

    Wonder why?

  10. As it is a slow day and most all are watching the Ryder Cup I thought I would get in my first post under the radar from all the masochists on here. However I am totally prepared to take my initiation in the way of all CQN’rs before me regardless how harsh it may be. There is a price to pay for everything. Lest I forget let me thank all of you on CQN, Bhoys & Ghirls, for all the informative and humorous posts over the years. I live in the U.S. now and have done for the past 47 years, I normaly don’t do the rags online but just rely on CQN to keep up to date. I am not a cmptr Geek but have a link here to “Zombie Bees”, seems like a good time, and need you to tell me if the beekeepers name could be pronounced “HUN”…??? Seems appropriate…”Zombies” = “HUN”..??
