We finish our league on the 5th of may. Our first friendly games will start two months after that in early July with a competitive tie in mid-July.
Even if we were in the fortunate position to know what our preferred line up was and wish to play them now, there will still be two months without a fixture where the partnerships will have forgotten what these next 5 games teach us.
These players spend more time together, in various partnerships, on a training ground than we ever see in the 90 minutes at the weekend.
We will not enhance or jeapordise our Euro qualification performance by what we do today.
