  1. C.O.Y.B.I.G.

CELTIC: Hart, Taylor, Starfelt, Giakoumakis, Abada, Rogic, Carter-Vickers, Maeda, Hatate, McGregor, Ralston.

Subs: Bain, Bitton, McCarthy, Jota, Johnston, O’Riley, Forrest, Welsh, Juranovic.

  2. 4 – 3 – 3 today….that’s interesting. Jota, Riley & Juranovic on the bench to maintain tempo & ensure no ‘sag’ in the second-half maybe.

  3. Question (or2)

A few changes as predicted and not a bad bench.

  6. Good luck celtic 3 points please, an impressive squad has been put together by Ange with options galore, considering who are injured and not yet fit very very impressive

  7. Good bench – using Bitton either in defence, or, midfield, gives us options from the bench of – three defenders, Bitton, Welsh & Juranovic, three in midfield, Bitton, McCarthy & Riley, and two upfront, Jota & Johnston.

The squad has taken shape just at the right time.

  8. This wullnae be easy, Howevaaaaaaaaa © Kojo, our momentum should see us through. Cheating BEATON

Posted from last thread – interested in other’s input.

    —-

As we approach today’s game, I wonder how after a series of single-goal victories against lower opposition, where in some cases we were hanging on at the end, that we suddenly produce a three-goal, going on six, win against the league-leaders, supposedly the best team in the league.

Well of course the most obvious answer may be that the Ibrox team did not employ the ‘low-block’ with everyone almost always behind the ball. That allowed us to use our superior passing & quick movement (Ange ball, if you like) to open them up. This I submit was the reason Reo was able to score his two from outside the box. However like other games this season, we did have a number of missed chances inside the box.

Our failure to convert these close-range good chances has dogged us all season. If we’d taken them against Livi(x2), St Mirren & Dundee Utd, we’d be ten points ahead at this time.

We will not get space to play afforded to us at Motherwell, so let’s hope that confidence and impetus from Wednesday night pushes us to convert more of the chances we create.

Having said that, none of us will be too distraught if 1-0 is the final score and we’re four points ahead – but a couple of goals in each half would be nice. HH

  10. Come on You Bhoys in Green.

    Incredible Support Wednesday.

Reo cannae keep scoring like he is doing??????

Tontine Tim just check in dude

  11. Right Bhoys let’s get the job done today.

I hope that Ange has briefed the players on not dropping standards and being sloppy today.

Let’s go 100% right from the start and sweep Motherwell off their feet.

  12. Even after the glorious highs of Wed…I’m still nervous as a kitten!!.( naturally I hate cats)….please put it to bed early celtic

  13. I’m here Petec, had desk top problems so was using my I-Pad, have quite big fingers so it’s a chore writing anything, but back in business again.

  14. Ideally a couple of quick goals.

Gives the referee a decision to make. Does he just referee as he should or does he follow his instincts? If he thinks it’s beyond hope he might do the former.

Why is bigot Boyd still in the Sky studio for our match? In fact why is he still employed by Sky?

They are trying to rub our noses in it .

  18. Winter break getting a bit of stick not needed now due to Huns screwing up … I just think it’s the drip drip effect of the Huns stretching the game trying to play football, it won’t last

  19. Tom McLaughlin on

    GLENDALYSTONSILS

Much as I can’t stand the bigoted cretin, Boyd’s offensive words were printed in a tabloid newspaper. Why would SKY sack him unless his comments were racist?

    4-0 Celtic.

  21. Great interview with Ange on Shortie.

    Agenda setting again is –

Starfelt is already scapegoated, (we have lost 3 goals in the last 10 league games)

Celtic cant keep up this tempo.

They take advantage of the subs rule (is it only us allowed more subs).

    Craigan and Packy dearie me.
