EFE AMBROSE has dedicated his third successive SPFL title success to his mother Alice.
Celtic’s Nigerian international defender said: “I am very happy to win the league again, all glory be to God who made it possible.
“Now I am dedicating it to my mum.
“I have won all the available trophies in Scotland and my next target is to replicate this success in European competition,
“I want to help my team make this happen.”
Efe has in recent months turned around the opinions of those in the Celtic support who had been unimpressed by the somewhat erratic performances. If Efe made a mistake the support was very quick to let him know about it. However his consistency and better recent form seems to have resolved this problem with the Celtic fans now frequently chanting the player’s name.
