Oscar Knox Paving Stone

1523

Last year at BMCUWP’s hootenanny in McChuills, many CQNers clubbed together and raised funds to buy something appropriate in memory of Wee Oscar. A fantastic amount was raised and we are delighted to announce a paving stone was purchased at very, very, favourable rates from Celtic, and now has its pride and place very close to the statue of Big Jock.

The tribute reads, Wee Oscar Knox, Heart of a lion, Courage of a champion.

Make sure you look out for it next time you are at Celtic Park.

Some on here need to dry their eyes and give the victimhood a rest. Aiden got booed because he turned his back on the country where he was born and raised. His choice, but to suggest that every Scotland fan booing him last night was a sectarian bigot is utter garbage

    ——-

As Celtic supporters we constantly challenge the MSM portray of a side the was never liquidated but we’re demoted to the lowest league.

And yet don’t challenge the same MSM who consistently portray Aiden as having turned his back on Scotland, when if fact it was initially the other way round.

At least some, like Jeromek67, are willing to see there are always two sides to these things.

I certainly expect a second string engerlund on tuesday – don’t think the epl managers will be pleased if their precious got injured. Mind you neither would i if broonie got injured.

  12. My friends in Celtic,

Many points to ponder today, I have just read Supersutton’s post stating :-

“As Celtic supporters we constantly challenge the MSM portray of a side the was never liquidated but we’re demoted to the lowest league.”

    ———————————————-

In light of this continuing saga, is it now the time for Celtic to voice a statement.? Possibly in association with other clubs.

The words listen and silent may be linked with having the exact same letters, but in reality there is a world of difference.

Is it time for Celtic to listen to their fans and break the silence.? Possibly some of our more astute legal posters may understand the clubs position, but from my point of view a statement is overdue.

  13. Anyone ever heard an excuse like this to cancel a game?

Lincoln City’s Conference game at Eastleigh was postponed following a fire at the Imps’ hotel.

An explosion in the sauna at the Hilton Southampton meant the players could not collect their boots and shinpads.

The game was originally delayed by an hour before being postponed.

Lincoln posted on their Twitter account:(external) “Can only apologise to fans who have travelled but all in hands of fire brigade. All players’ boots etc in rooms which we can’t enter.”

A club statement from Eastleigh (external)read: “The fire broke out at the Hilton Hotel in Chilworth at 11.16am.

“Crews of 55 firefighters from eight stations across the Southampton area have been tackling the flames which are thought to have started in the hotel’s sauna.

  18. Anyone who is concerned about people posting their doubts about our players or manager on here, need only pop over to Sevco media and read the live Sevco V alloa thread :))))))

The deluded score on page 11 and(can hardly type for laughing here) Alloa equalise top of page 12 :))))))))

They are a breed of their own,

Parental caution nahhhhhh adult caution is advised as permarage does not begin to cover it .

We treat our players and manager with kid gloves compared to the bile they spew ,it would take me all night editing to make it presentable for here.

    silly billys :))))).

we are far from in a perfect place just now but they truly are “The gift thats keeps giving”.

If you dont want to read about them just ignore this.:))))))))

Why is Murray in charge of hearts game. He supports them does he not…?

  20. Paul67 et al

Fair effort by Scotland. Laidlaw could have put the Reds in front with ten minutes to play. Scots finding a bit of form ahead of the World Cup.
