Last year at BMCUWP’s hootenanny in McChuills, many CQNers clubbed together and raised funds to buy something appropriate in memory of Wee Oscar. A fantastic amount was raised and we are delighted to announce a paving stone was purchased at very, very, favourable rates from Celtic, and now has its pride and place very close to the statue of Big Jock.
The tribute reads, Wee Oscar Knox, Heart of a lion, Courage of a champion.
Make sure you look out for it next time you are at Celtic Park.

On the way back to Strasbourg she met a couple who said they couldn’t find the Black Forest. Meghan replied that it is only about 150km by 50km so it is easy to miss:o)

The court appointed the liquidator, but Hector nominated BDO. There was a stushie when D&D were appointed Administrators, whom Craigey nominated, despite Hector’s opposition.
The latest developments indicate that Hector’s concerns were justified.
If there are lengthy criminal proceedings, I doubt if Mike Ashley would seek to invest. He wouldn’t want his SD brand to be so obviously tainted. Any self respecting investors will be running for cover.

I posted a herald article last night and tried to summarise, one of the bits I found amusing is that £3M of bigs hands money is paying for the BDO investigation, least thats how I read it.
On our heroes warrant, there are no official quotes to confirm this, if you look at the daily mail article it has detail of the charges but finishes with “It is understood” when talking about our heroes alleged warrant, so nothing is confirmed. Speculation from the speculative society maybe.
The only time our hero crapped himself was when there was a chance of D & P not getting appointed as the admin men.
I agree that minty will be protected, if there was any will to get him, he would be in the pokey by now, his dealings with MIM would have seen to it, let alone the huns.
The corruption in scotland is a disgrace, but we have know this for some time, now it’s out in the open, they are still getting away with it, they are laughing at us cos they know they are scott free.

D&Ps job as administrators ended when they failed to achieve a CVA. They then applied to the Court for a winding up order (Liquidation) for the company. The Court appoints the liquidator and usually the appointee is one acceptable to the largest creditors. Hector was owed 75% of Rangers1872s debt and was able to block D&Ps attempted CVA whereby creditors would have been paid 9p in the £.
A liquidator’s duty is to investigate the behaviour of the directors of the failed company and to report any suspicious activity to the police. It has taken a while but BDO, ably assisted by Hector, seem now to be getting into gear.
The huns are totally fecked.

Sectarian graffiti has been sprayed on a children’s football team’s minibus in north Belfast.
The incident happened on Friday at around 7.30pm at Ballysillan Leisure Centre.
The under-12 football team, based in west Belfast, returned to find the slogan “KAT” daubed on their vehicle.
Police are investigating and are treating the incident as a hate crime.
Sinn Féin MLA Gerry Kelly said the children were left frightened by the incident.
He added: “It’s possible that this action was the work of only a small number of individuals but it’s despicable that anyone would be bigoted enough to target children in this way.
“There is no place for this type of sectarian intimidation.”
Mr Kelly also criticised the police response to the incident and that he would be raising the matter with Belfast City Council which operates the centre.
PUP councillor Julie-Anne Corr also condemned the attack.
She added: “This was a disgusting sectarian attack.
“There can be no excuses or justification for this type of behaviour and I totally condemn it.”
She added: “I contacted the visiting team to offer any support I can.
“We all have a responsibility to stand up against sectarian behaviour.
“Unfortunately, it seems this attack is symptomatic of wider anti-social behaviour and community safety issues in the area.
“We must have an approach locally where everyone works together to address issues such as substance and alcohol misuse, providing positive alternative activities for children and young people to engage in.”

Minty is far from being in the clear. BDOs task is not yet complete and I expect that Minty’s behaviour will be fully investigated. 276 creditors will demand nothing less.
As others have pointed out, since charges have now been made against certain individuals, we don’t want to prejudice any trial by speculating on what may or may not have happened; ie idle speculation on a blog could enable certain parties to walk scot free.

I remember the photo. It was in the public domain, which is why I was astonished when Craig Whyte’s nomination of D&P as administrators was accepted by the court.
Jeez – anybody would think it was an attempt at a stitch-up.
Which it wasn’t, of course, as all parties clearly conducted the business at hand transparently and with the highest regard to moral and legal probity.
