Our African players, Hawkeye, 1254125 and more!

1031

The December issue of CQN Magazine has arrived!  We have 116 pages material written for and by Celtic supporters.  We cover 1254125 (hopefully a phrase you are already familiar with), and our newly fertile African territories.  There is an excellent analysis of our perennial penalty problem with lots of articles from fans sharing their Celtic experiences.

………and we cover the Champions League in some style.  The games against Barcelona, Spartak and Benfica are all given their place in our history while we look ahead at who we could face in the next round, and beyond!

It’s all there and available to read online for free, although you can sell some of your Sevco shares and pay to have a hard copy specifically crafted for you if you wish.

Before you read, we thought it might be helpful to give you a quick guide on how to use the magazine online…..

A QUICK USERS GUIDE TO GETTING THE MOST FROM CQN MAGAZINE ONLINE

When you see the magazine on CQN – don’t try to read it inside this graphic – click on the button at the bottom right hand side of the magazine which has two diagonal arrows. This will show you the magazine in full screen.

The first button on the left, a little arrow coming out of a box, allows you to SHARE the magazine. You can post to Facebook and Tweet the link on Twitter to spread the word!

The next button – this is the SEARCH function. Type in Barcelona and all the mentions in this edition will be displayed.  The third button in from the top left – the next button takes you to RELATED publications. Here you can view all the back editions of CQN Magazine and all the related content we have loaded, including many of the documents in the past year.

The next button is for a Table of Contents but we don’t use this function so ignore that one.

Next along, with the downward pointing arrow is the DOWNLOAD button. If you want to download and read the PDF this is where to do it. The last button at the top left is the PRINT button – ideal if you want a hard copy of page or two.

Moving to the bottom left – we currently have the BUY CQN ANNUAL button.

Over to the bottom right hand corner and working from left to right – the first button has three parts, allowing you to read CQN magazine as a double page, or single or to scroll over the pages.

The next button along to the right, with the plus and minus signs – allows you to increase or decrease the size of the page on your screen – ideal for easy reading.

Next along is the page number, showing the left hand page number you are on from the total in the magazine, in the new issue that is 116 pages (More than double what it used to be incidentally!)

Next along is the button with the two arrows, pointing to left and to right. These allow you to turn the pages forward to the right and back to the left.

Next there is a volume button and finally the arrow we started on at the bottom right hand corner that allows you to view in full screen.

You can also turn pages by scrolling over the page corners. Inside the magazine you will find embedded videos – these can be watched on full screen. There are links to take you direct to advertisers’ websites and at the bottom right hand corner of all right hand editorial pages, to take you back to CQN. Some smaller images have a function that allows us to increase the size – so click on these smaller photographs and the size will increase on your page to give you a better look.

If you want to buy the print version of the magazine you can do so by clicking the Magcloud.com link on the cover or the contents page.   Magcloud print a unique copy for you and ship from the US, so unfortunately it’s expensive.  You’re vastly cheaper (and some would say better) to order the CQN Annual, which you can do from here.

Enjoy CQN Magazine’s December edition and many thanks to all who contributed!

  1. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire,

possibly they did but that just makes it all the more ridiculous as they were ignored while our club and others

    stayed quiet on the farce.

    Danso,

I’m thinking with all the positive news surrounding Celtic, Paul67 is taking advantage of the chance to bring glad tidings this festive.

Their problems still have a long way to go, plenty of time to get back to them when the time is right, ie when the appeal result is published, then when the appeal is underway.

Also there is still plenty to come on the sfa, so enjoy the good news about our club and deal with their woes as and when they arise :o)

  3. My heid is completely burst wi all of this and from one post to the next as I read them my mood I swinging like a pendulum

But I think in laymans term the following has been established

    1. There is no political or establishment will to take the whole issue at ANY level to task

    2. The media in Scotland save a very few exceptions are complicit at every level in this

    3. If this involved any other ” institution” we would have seen a diametrically different approach to it from all parties responsible for governance

4.i am completely scunnered by it all and now see the only way forward long term for the good of Celtic to be playing in a completely different environment where there is a level playing field and transparency for the long term good of our club and its supporters

    5. I sincerely hope someone can post something in cold hard facts to lift my scepticism and show me all is NOT lost for our game

    6. I am however thankful to all our Celtic family that I am a member !!!

  7. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire,

yes ofcourse we can have our moments brief as they maybe or not

but the overriding factor is corruption and cheating and for the sake of ourselves and previous generations we must no we owe it to ourselves and others to be equal.

  8. The Herald is wrong according to the prospectus the following cannot sell ordinary shares within the 1st 12 months of trading:

    Directors

    Malcolm Murray (Non-Executive Chairman)

    Charles Green (Chief Executive Officer)

    Brian Stockbridge (Finance Director)

    Walter Smith (Non-Executive Director)

    Ian Hart (Non-Executive Director)

    Bryan Smart (Non-Executive Director)

    Key Employees

    Imran Ahmad and Alistair McCoist

I don’t know whether those ordinary shares could be converted to another saleable kind.

Also Charles Green paid £50k for his shares, currently worth around £3.6M.

I’m having a day off worrying about the injustices I suggest you join me and keep the blood pressure under control :o)

Your right but it’s no good for your health

Today Matthew I’m going to be a Celtic supporter and leave the justice crusade for a day or three, I’m going to enjoy the CL draw :o)

Remember the rotten mob enjoy us getting apoplectic and feeling insignificant, the next three days is our turn, I want Malaga just for the sunshine, no even bothered if I get a ticket, will enjoy watching it in a Spanish bar surrounded by tims.

    Hail Hail

I think many here would agree with all of that, but I fear that if Celtic end up playing in a different environment, our old enemy will join us there and it’s just more of the same.

    asonofdan,

Only 5, the rest must be tangled up in the festive post.

  16. For anybody feeling anger & frustration re the Sevco situation just thank your lucky stars that Hector pulled the plug on the CVA. If Green had pulled that off,History would remain intact, playing staff likewise and they would have retained their place in the SPL. At this moment in time we could be battling them for 3 trophies whilst trying to compete in Europe, with McShagger, Davis, Naismith etc still plying their trade, they would probably be coming off of an extremely successful Share Issue and we would have had our hands full for years. When you consider that option then these are very Happy Days.

  17. I take it Reagan has given up Twatter? If he still on can someone ask him what happened to the “urgent meeting” 2 days after Green refused DU cup tickets?

In many ways I do agree with you about starving the MSM guys of sales, however there may be another side of the argument that says we may have already pretty much abandoned the MSM already and now it’s developed into an even more extreme hun mouthpiece that goes unchallenged, presenting charles green opinions as gospel statements while claiming to have a neutral opinion.

The phone ins are another similair case, some folks are in favour of abandoning the phone ins completely to the hun hordes (and I can fully understand this approach too) however the end result maybe that the hun opinion is presented as gospel and goes unchallenged, and us timternet types are cast as extremist bampots without any recourse or voice, since our opinion is possibly misrepresented at best and not presented at worst.

One of the complications is that although we may have the same amount of fans as sevco but we make up only around 15% of the population so our effect on sales is probably not that drastic as long as 85% of the population are still buying

Which can leave us with a dilemma, about do we let these MSM streams go unchallenged or do we take on the likes of Jabba and co and present the truth. I like to think that some tim fholks have taken the opportunity (more on the phone ins admittedly)to challenge the MSM and have done a pretty good job

That doesn’t mean to say that not reading the MSM is a not a good tactic, but I do sometimes wonder if it’s a tactic that isolates us from mainstream and allows the MSM extremists to voice their own hun opinions into the general populous without recourse.

Personally I believe that ignoring the MSM in the hope that they will just go away, is allowing the MSM to be an unchallenged hun mouthpiece that presents the Gospel according to Chucky to the General public.

I know that the recent show of strength from all clubs fans stopped the huns/sfa/spl plans to go bust and start up the next day, but it was necessary to get the fans forums into more mainstream media channels to achieve this. That doesn’t mean run out and buy the record, but it doesn’t mean that we just keep turning the other cheek either. If you know what I mean.

  19. Don’t know if it’s been posted before, been busy, but Angela has retweeted a brilliant piece by Daniel O’connell which clears this “club” and “company” thing. Very informative.

It is being reported that 30 officers are working on the pleb row case where it is reported that the gendarmerie may not have been telling the full truth

I would be willing to be that a significant number of folks who have been involved with Glasgows finest, may have felt that the boys in blue didn’t always tell the truth, the whole truth … but I bet that the disgruntled never got 30 officers to investigate another officer to make sure.

Imagine if Charles green had decided that he would take his chances with the big tax case and instead had elected to either pay the NI, VAT and PAYE in full while waiting for the unproven big tax case judgement to arise.

The huns would still be playing in the SPL as if nothing had happened, and be eligible for Europe, possibly with a full playing squad, I’m so glad that Charles green decided to fold them, just in case.

  22. Dangerous times. We (Celtic fans and others), have long believed that Scottish Football was run for the sake of Rangers. Whilst it remained a belief –no matter how strong– we were always left with the straw of possibility that matters were not quite as they seemed. Currently, with the MSM and The Establishment refusing to acknowledge that The Rangers is a new football outfit and completely towing the Party line that the future of the Ibrox club is bright, we have had almost the last remnant of doubt removed. The only hope left is that Celtic FC and other Scottish Clubs are awaiting certain outcomes before acting. If that is not the case and The Rangers are treated exactly as Rangers, then I strongly suspect that the number of fans turning their collective back on the game in Scotland will render it unsustainable. It is my belief that many of those who have stopped going to Celtic Park have done so because of the feeling that the game is already up. If a fair and honest conclusion is not reached at this time in Scottish Football, then the famous England commentary clip will take on a new meaning.

  23. I read somewhere that the Mayan calendar armageddon thing only got going because the rest of it got broken off and thus the myth of ‘the end’ got underway.
