POSTECOGLOU POSER

ANGE POSTECOGLOU is swithering on a goalkeeper poser to see who plays against Motherwell at Fir Park tonight.

Benji Siegrist, who arrived on a four-year deal in the summer after quitting Dundee United at the end of the season, played in the previous Premier Sports League Cup-tie against Ross County in Dingwall.

The Swiss shotstopper made a couple of good saves, but was beaten by a close-range header from Alex Iacovetti in the holders’ 4-1 victory.

Now Postecoglou must make up his mind between Siegrist and Joe Hart who won his first piece of silverware as a Celt in the tournament in December last year in the 2-1 Hampden victory over Hibs.

UP FOR THE CUP…Joe Hart celebrates Celtic’s Premier Sports League Cup success in December last year.

It’s looks like being a late decision from the Greek-Australian who told The Herald: “We will see.

“I haven’t really thought about the team yet. I will look at it on Wednesday.

“Benji has been training well, but Joe is playing well, and Scott Bain and young Tobi Oluwayemi are also doing well and working hard.

“I will make a decision on who starts on Wednesday.”

Hart was involved in a similar situation during his Manchester City days when his understudy Costel Pantilimon played in all the earlier rounds in the FA Cup in season 2012/13.

However, manager Roberto Mancini brought back the England international No.1 for the Wembley Final where they lost 1-0 to a Wigan team that included his current Hoops team-mate James McCarthy.
