Rangers relax BBC ban when cash is at stake

953

Rangers today relaxed their ban on the BBC, issued after a documentary with contributions from two former Rangers directors was screened last month.  The BBC booked a paying gig at Ibrox for this afternoon’s game against Dundee United, if Rangers stuck to their principles they would have missed a media payment from the SPL.

Tune in to BBC Scotland this afternoon and listen to the sound of licence payers’ money strut its stuff from Ibrox.

Don’t know if it’s a masonic term, but DU must have got too close to goal a couple of times leading up to it, so in that respect it was most likely “stonewall” :)

  4. Notice on the BBC rolling commentary on the website had Garry Kenneth nearly bursting the net, then exactly one minute later, PENALTY TO RANGERS.

Obviously Kenneth’s effort was too close for comfort…

FIFA and the GB. Strange bedfellows.

I agree it is more questionable at international level. How would it regarded if England were playing Germany.

    I don’t think you’re a hun.

But what you are is someone who’s more concerned with them than us.

    That’s not a Celtic SUPPORTER.

By They, I assume you mean the Huns.

Unfortunately, they do have that much power and influence over the BBC and the SFA.

They always have done. That is what has given them supremacy in that country.

Can you imagine the reaction if any Celtic official made the reported remarks that Whyte did concerning Spiers and two other journalists.

It would have mean total warfare against the club, by all the media. The SFA would sanction the club and possibly threats of legal action.

They also have power through every institution in the land. It is generated through the power of Freemasonry.

Them’s the facts of life in Scotland, I’m afraid.

Hence my question. What do Celtic do?.. and I think it will be a case of when, not if.

  12. 15 points behind….. Ah that’s nothing!!! Beat Motherwell then game in hand and it’s 9 points, Huns will drop points this run will not last and we will win the league :)

How many penalties have Celtic had this season? 3 by my count.

The other mob on the other hand have had how many?

I wonder how soon the media will start counting all their penalties the way they did with us.

Your powers of prophecy need more work I’m afraid. Pulling a goal back against rangers should predict a red card for the opposition. :)

  16. The big guy at the back....of Neil Lennon on

Bada Bing, not sure how fit he is but it appears that he will get a chance to prove that he can make a meaningful contribution. Time will tell whether or not the manager is willing to a chance on him or whether his fingers were sufficiently burned last year by Ljungberg!

  17. Margaret McGill on

Hmmm no need for a Dundee Utd red now 2-0 …obligatory penalty…I thought winter would at least wait until the arabs scored…shucks!

  18. Is Zenden destines to be this year’s Ljungberg.

If so, I hope for a better return.

If he signs, I hope that he has leadership qualities, as that is what our kids need more than anything on the park.
