    We can do this.

     

     

    It reminds me of big Jock putting out such a team in about 1970 in the Glasgow Cup final. We beat their best XI 3-1. Danny and Kenny and Victor and Jimmy Q all playing and winning with style at hampden.

    Interesting to see if Abada can shine from a starting role? I know it is a dead rubber but Maeda’s running has been key to keeping their defence from pushing forward. Jota on his preferred side is always a good thing and giving Oh his chance also makes sense.

     

     

    With CCV and AJ out, I would have kept GT in his place for some stability. Bernabei has not impressed me at all as a LB this season. I think the only time he played really well was his first game against the huns. Gives the ball away too often while trying hospital passes.

     

     

    FIngers crossed that it will work out.

    I’d like to see MOR putting in a more dominant midfield performance. Good player but tends to play on the periphery of games too much for me at times. Big characters needed today with no fans to offer support ………go to it boys !!

    Such nonsense ( by Cantwell amd McFadden). Even one of the Huns ( Morelos maybe?) offered the water bottle therby showing the stupidity of the views of Cantwell and McFadden .

    I have no real concerns about today but I do think we are short in defence in the squad today. We only have Hart and Starfelt as regulars from the back 5 and only Greg Taylor to strengthen it. I expect to see Callum play deeper to cover the, ahem, adventurous Bernabei.

     

     

    We have earned the right to mess about with the team and we can still win but it will be a good achievement anyway.
