    I noticed Rogers board salute

But you must remember our board are penny pinching bonus gathering and of course also seem to earn huge dividends from their collectively tiny percentage of the shares.

Berndan was sold a pup. You heard it all on here from the experts this past week.

All the entitled opinions based on ‘f’ all actual knowledge.

Today our transfer window comes home to roost.

That’s the worst Celtic side taken to Ibrox in decades.

I think you just got caught up in the swirl of depressing hun led pash that diseased this place in the run up to this fixture.it was not criticism that could be led constructively to a better Celtic,

Nope, gullible to every meeja led leader and nowt to do with the betterment of Celtic,it just came across as entitled customer.Your a lot better than that AD.

My kids when they were about 3 or 4 years old would sometimes complain about wanting something else other than what they were given but couldn’t actually say what they would be happy with.

Fortunately they grow out of that habit by the time they went to school and got on with living in a world where they had to take responsibility for their actions and realised that just moaning about stuff wasn’t constructive.

Looks like they’ve signed very poorly using Bosman’s because ‘they can’t otherwise afford ‘

How very dare you! Were we not told that they have spend ‘mullions and mullions’ on players wanted by numerous clubs across Europe? Was their striker not said yesterday to have cost £6M? Kris Boyd certainly repeated that lie They have loads of money, honest they have.

  6. Burnley, Hartson is approaching Walker-level bawbaggery, ever since his insane attack on the Celtic support after the Boxing Day game up in Dundee years ago…

Bonner on the other hand is just a black belt daftie, stuck on a BBC Radio contract along with porn-tache Miller, the Statler & Waldorf of the SMSM…

  7. MCPHAIL BHOY – Beale actually said this week the figures being quoted in the media were false but that doesn’t fit the narrative of their PR dept. or the laptop loyal.

  8. For the goal, Kyogo hit it early & sweetly but it was not in the corner nor was it dipping over the keeper. As the ball bounced in front of Kyogo Butland backpedalled, presumably expecting the lob, instead of coming out to narrow the angle(s) / ‘fill’ the goal. He ended up showing a big target to Kyogo.

I wonder whether Kyogo was aware of Butland backpedalling or whether it was more instinct reacting to an an inviting bounce ?

    Interesting moment.

  9. Brendan clearly understood what has been blindingly obvious for years, take Tavernier out and Sevco have no threat. I can’t believe, seeing some of the Sevco bloggers, many of them wanted to get rid of him. He has been their primary goal threat for years and not just from the spot.

Maeda played him perfectly, had him in his back pocket.

Maeda may not have received the plaudits Scales got but he played one of his best games IMHO.

  11. Surprise surprise ref watch and all the guests say it was a goal, how come nobody is looking at the 2 handed shove to the ground on kyogo by butland, that’s a penalty and at least a booking for butland.

  12. Dessybhoy

Apparently madhun said the ref got the review spot on – trip before making contact with the ball

  13. Dont usually focus too much on the Board or indeed on our background team and staff but all credit to them for doing yesterday what more than a few on here couldn’t and didn’t do yesterday….

Which is to support the Celtic.

  14. Superbru update will come later today as it’s sunny and I’m in too good a mood to sit down and count things up.

Was among the pessimistic yesterday, I usually am about Ibrox visits, but, fair play, to the likes of Deniabhoy and others who came back on here to say they got it wrong.

We maybe lacked a visit from one prominent negative poster who told us he would be back on after our defeat, to remind us. He must be a casualty of over-celebrating.

I give the credit on yesterday’s win to grit and resilience from our warrior players, especially the captain, and to the coaching influence. 50% to BR for getting a working team shape out of that particular group of players and 50% to the coaching ability of Michael Beale who let Calmac & Matt dominate his midfield by standing off them.

Brendan has told us that yesterday is far from the finished article and we have better to come. We will need it too and it may not come quickly enough for CL but is welcome, nonetheless.

P.S. Iwata was injured yesterday as was Phillips. There was nothing soap-opera-ish about him being dropped; Brendan played with all the fit players at his disposal and they served him well.

P.P.S. I saw a bit of Lazio against Napoli and, despite Napoli being technically competent, they were not very urgent in attack. Lazio defended easily and were lightning fast on counter attacks. We must be wary of this in the CP game in October.

P.P.P.S.- I like John Hartson and don’t mind if he said the Dessers tackle wasn’t a foul. I’ve been telling a few bluenoses the same thing; it really winds them up.
