    Thought forwards were great, defenders very poor today…..just an “off day”. I’m sure fatigue was a factor, having played so many games this month. It was fun to see Moussa mess them up at the end. Well deserved break Celtic and terrific thank you to the supporters.

    A special mention for Izzy today, 250 games for the club and a guy who has been over the course and knew exactly what was required of him today and delivered it.

     

     

    Well played the baddest man in Honduras, also saw to that oink Garner:)))

     

     

    Moussa and Sinky outstanding in the second half, wee Paddy’s game intelligence in and around the box put the game beyond the uglies.

     

     

    Man of the match could have had a hat trick Stuart Armstrong…

    Could have been 8. Chance after chance,carving them open at will. Their two best chances came in the last ten minutes when we were caught up the park even though we were 2-1 up. Linesman in th first half helped them remain in it,two,two on one with the keeper called offside wrongly,I could see they were on. We’re miles ahead.

    brilliant performance once we got going. I thought the team played well together – Lustig was the only failure , he couldn’t tackle and his distribution was poor. This is an area we can strengthen.

     

     

    Secondly, don’t know why our central defenders stand stagnant at corners – they were wrestled down at corners and needed to attack space more.

    It was understandable that they had the better of the first 25 minutes. They used up so much energy in that period to just be slightly better than us. The linesman was very influential in stopping Celtic with bad offside calls though.

     

     

    These players really deserve a break after the monumental efforts they have put in so far this season. I’m sure there will be at least 1 first team regular being brought in to make us better.

    Brilliant, much better from the bhoys in the 2nd half. Der Hun had no answers. I really dislike Sky coverage -concentrating on Millers miss – equalise – ‘me arse’ no mention of Moussa’s splendid effort that hit the bar or Scott S’s bit of skill before hitting the post. Sevco can learn a lot from this game?? Aye they can – that they aren’t very good at all. End of the day it was a 2-1 pumping.

     

     

    Thought Moussa as immense today.

     

     

    I am away to enjoy a proper whiskey, Connemara single malt – yummy :-)

    Thought it was a good win in the end although listing and sviatchenko looked unusually nervy throughout. Great play from dembele at the short corners.

    He buys SS and MD – transforms Armstrong Forrest – he manages Gordon Jose even Izzy – and he gets as much as is possible out of McGregor

     

    Qualifies for CL wins the LC and absolutely dominates the League – Oh and we hump them with ease

     

     

    I need to manage my expectations for the next six months !!!!!!!!!!

    Unfair as per usual from Sky. Highlighted Miller’s miss at the end with no mention of us hitting bar, post and all of the chances we had. Tanner and McCann both sick. Well done once again to Brendan and the boys, 2-1 going on 8.

    RAMPANT versus JUST PANTS.

     

     

    Class shone through in the end. Love watching this Celtic team. Teeming with talent and creativity. Huns had their moments, but 7-2 would have been a fairer reflection of the game in the end. Just wait till Big Tam, KT and another signing or two come in. Eat our dust Huns!

    Their fans will be happy that a 2-1 defeat and a shot off the inside of the post means they are catching us. We are delighted that we played 8 league games, won 8 and now have a break and likely to strengthen in the transfer window.

    That was worth getting up at 6am to watch, even if I had to have the sound off as Ciaran’s mum was still sleeping. Ciaran is still in bed but his little brothers got up to watch with me. Now have the basketball on.

    In the first half, they were like Gascoigne on coke…

     

     

    Second half, it must have wore off.

     

    Brendan took control… and might just have given the Breadman is Jotters (if they can afford it…).

     

     

    They could finish second (if they continue taking coka cola…) but externall events may overtake them.

     

    EPL clubs are queuing up for Waghorn, Mike is queuing up for pesetas, the judges are putting their black hats on …).

     

     

    What a great time to be a Celtic man !!!
