Stuart Armstrong was outstanding for us last season, from about November onwards. But I’m sure even he’d admit this season hasn’t been his best.

I look forward to having THE Stuart Armstrong playing for Celtic, and I’d be as happy as a pig in the proverbial if he signed a new contract of decent length.

Thanks for the reply, mate. Needless to say,my Dad and my sisters are delighted you’re back too.

    Excellent sandman

Who? WTF? Difficult to extracate yourself from a Mother’s Day breakfast, hoof it to the pub and take your first sup of bog-standard watery pish lager just as a complete stranger picks the ball out of the net.

Thankfully we ascertained he was a bona-fide Celtic keeper as the bhoy kept the Blue Meanies at bay with some splendid keeping and was never flustered with the ball at his feet.

I am biased about SA because he is my nephews mentor and pal. Have met him and he is one of the most genuine nicest man I have ever shared company with. He has become a massive Tim too.

    Actually,I’m biased about him too!

I think he’s a tremendous player, but he hasn’t hit the heights this season. I’m sure he’ll be as disappointed about that as anyone, and will put it right from now on in. And as I said,I’d love him to sign a proper contract.

To know that he is a good guy off the park too, well, that just maintains my high opinion of him.

As for your nephew C,tell the young fella that I hope he gets things back on track and that HE hits the heights he deserves. But he already has a place in history-got me kicked out of a pub, ffs!!!

    That’s good news!

Because I’ve kinda promised a wee dayooooot/hootenanny in June. Original plan was Derry, and I’ve spent ages looking into it,but the accommodation isn’t really there for us. Then I looked into late June in Belfast, and there’s loads of accommodation and it’s pretty much all gone!

So,I think we’ll go for 9 June. Nae Celtic, but the start of the World Cup,and plenty of available accommodation.

    Fancy it?

A sclaffy Morelos miss away from another Brendan draw vs Murty, and you’d think it was 1967 again!

    Dear, dear.

Nae winnur the huns can get away wi kidding on that they didny die!

Take a day off will ye.

If yesterday didn’t make you realise the difference between Murty and Brendan then nothing will.

The manager with the 3 man advantage, (one player and 2 officials) adopts a “hold what we have” mentality, whilst the severely disadvantaged manager throws on a match winner.

I actually like Murty. Comes across as a decent fella, and he’s got the rotten mob playing better than they have since their phoenix from the flames trick, however, he’s got some way to go to reach the heights of Brendan.

That’ll be 2 points from 9 now he’s managed v BR. He can thank Madhun for 1 of those.

That aside, hope yer in good health Kev.

  8. James Forrest, not the player, called out the Union Bears and their blackshirts march last week, highlighting that the SMSM, Nil By Mouth and one or two other agencies had seemed to have lost their power of speech. So what do we get? The facist bassas being allowed to march unhindered, in fact aided and abetted by Glasgow Polis, from the louping Louden.

No doubt we’ll have Mick1888 on later defending his former brethren. Although it would be interesting to hear his take on it?

Will the SFA take any action against the sevco fans for their innate inability to create a meaningful Tifo? ;-)

I’m due you a reply. It’ll be winging its way to your inbox later this morning. Been too busy watching replays of the game to get down to business.

Chris has been out wi a bad injury for 3 months. He is still on the orange juice :)

Ian Durrant is his new mentor. Think he fancies my sis though. :))

  11. On a negative note, was raging with Eddie yesterday. That winning goal. If he’d just knocked that in 2 minutes earlier as opposed to the 69th minute!

Mind you, individual preference I guess. What do you prefer?

    A 69 or a 67:-)

I didn’t know he’d been out for so long, give him my best. I’ll have a wee word wi my KITALBA icon on his behalf.

As for Ian Durante,I knew a number of people who only had good things to say about him as a person. As long as a certain malevolent influence wasn’t leading him astray. Shame how his career panned out.

While you were MIA,I posted a link to a game that probably started it all off,I’ll try to find it. It’s XXX-rated utter violence! And as usual,Sleekit does what Sleekit does best.

The best thing about the black shirt facist’s tifo was the scrunched up paper balls flung at oor players. They are a laughable shower of scum. Sorry you live so close to their masonic temple of doom.

We all know plenty of good guys who support the wrong team. Doesn’t stop them being good guys though.

Chris is definitely in good hands, and as soon as he gets The Boomer back in action,he can get back on track. I thought he was poorly treated by J McN,and his confidence probably took a knock.

It was a pleasure seeing you yesterday you missed Weet Weet Weet from here by about 15mins, there was plenty of smiles in the pub yesterday, I was put my bed around 8pm, was a long day, they always are, wee days annual leave School run beckons then I can watch the game as I missed most of it yesterday as Billy Collum ruined my concentration was too focused on that wee cheat nd not Celtic, still can’t believe Dembelle got booked for headering the ball !

Monday’s are so good with no work and a Celtic victory against the newest Klub in Scottish fitba :-)

  19. Don’t know when last a result so delighted me. Great feeling. Thank you, Celtic.

There seems to have little coverage of our Scott being attacked in the business lounge at Glasgow Airport. Imagine it had been one of them. Just think too: presumably the attack was made by some of their better off “supporters”. Am I right in thinking this happened in front of his family? Words really fail me.

By the bye, was that fascist march before the game officially sanctioned? Only in Scotland……

  20. Delaneys Dunky on

His left foot is similar to ID’s, more powerful though. Stuart Armstrong tells a tale about Jackie Mac. Not complimentary. Chris loves ID and ID loves Chris. Living close to Dumbarton helps. DUFC are reaping what they sowed now. Thomson was a rogue.

  21. Good morning.

I was expecting lots of the Dark Arts to be applied yesterday but the team played well considering all that was thrown at them.

I really like the triumverate of Dembele, Edouard and Ntcham – they look like they really enjoy playing together.

Great tactical substitution by BR btw – it shows the real difference between us and the rest.

  22. Did anyone notice Scott Bain was white as a sheet during the game? Boyata’s defending probably didn’t help. Anyway, by the time he was interviewed post-match he’d got his colour back. What a hero.

The pleasure was ours, you have 100% record so the Bhoys want you back for the next one :-)

  26. DD, I imagine he might get a run now. He made difficult saves look easy. With Commper and Ajer in front of him he’ll be even more solid.

  27. Good morning friends.

A lot of very confused work colleagues this morning as I greet them with a Big smile and a predominantly blue tie. A tactic almost as surprising as Brendans5match winning substitutions yesterday.

  28. A great deal of emphasis was placed on sevco closing the gap on Celtic by the media compared to last season. This time last year we were approx 30 points ahead of them but this year potentially 9 going on 12.

Why let the true facts get in the way of the myth. Last year we were invincible losing no games and drawing four, we were 8 points away from perfection. This year we have drawn 7 and lost 2. So there is 12 points already. Sevco have taken a full 9 points off if Aberdeen and have not beaten us once. They lost 9 games last year and to date have lost 8 with probably more to come.

So the gap has been reduced by our poorer performance this year compared to last and nothing to do with sevco. Aberdeen are one of the main reasons that make sevco look like challengers as well as our dropping points to other teams.

SB always stuck out for me in his performances for Dundee against us. The fact he had a fight wi Sleekit McCann impresses me more ;))
