I watched Taylor injure his shoulder a few weeks ago. I have coached teams for many years, and watching the way he moved, I was astounded of forehead that we allowed him to continue. Shades of Mikey Johnston from last season. I was even more amazed that Taylor was back on the pitch in such a short time, so I am not surprised that he needs an operation. Do we even have a team doctor? Even a non-medic like myself could tell that Johnston and Taylor’s injuries were serious.
With the system we have, we need to keep the ball. For example , Rogic has been great going forward but non existent when they have it, ditto Turnbull.

For me the biggest problem is that most of this defence is new but they still concede terrible goals and seem to just accept it.
A very worrying trend.
Last five minutes of hope.
Our midfield is decent going forward, but virtually useless in helping the defence.
Squad remains very thin, as we’re seeing tonight.
Not overly bothered about the EL. Ange did great to get us here given the shambles left by Lennon and Lawwell.
