What chance the SFA will be able to act without fear now? I don’t imply they will act without favour, but do you believe SFA panellists can act without fear? Anyone who participates in Rangers appeal process and upholds their punishment will act despite fear.
This process, one of the most important the SFA has dealt with in years, has been subverted, and that calls for a far greater sanction that any already imposed.

RAITH Rovers director Eric Drysdale is being advised by police over his safety after his name was linked to sanctions imposed on Glasgow Rangers.
Drysdale, a chartered banker with the Royal Bank of Scotland, has confirmed he was one of three men who sat on the SFA Judicial Panel which handed the administration-hit Ibrox club with a year-long transfer embargo and £160,000 in fines.
The sanctions, which were revealed on Monday night, triggered a furious response from Rangers’ administrators, Duff and Phelps, while the club’s manager, Ally McCoist, demanded that the identities of those on the tribunal be released to the public.
The Press understands that shortly after Drysdale’s name was leaked over the internet yesterday (Wednesday), a phonecall of a threatening nature was answered by office staff at Stark’s Park, who subsequently contacted the police.
And while Drysdale confirmed that he has suffered no direct threats against him, Strathclyde Police have issued him with security advice, including a 42-page document that ranges from how to answer the door, to identifying suspicious packages, as a precaution.
Drysdale told the Press: “I’ve not had any threats aimed specifically at me, but I’ve been advised to stay vigilant.
“It’s a surreal situation to be in. I’ve just had Sky News at the door, and the BBC are on their way.
“I don’t feel threatened as such, but I’m certainly being careful. I suppose I am in the same frame of mind presently as Calum Murray was at the shame game”
Drysdale, who has served as a director at Raith since 1998, is a lifelong Rovers’ supporter and a shareholder since 1984.

The SFA and SPL couldn’t possibly make the sort of promises he has asked for, no further sanctions regardless of past crimes etc.
The Blue Knights, who are they, do they have any money, £500k would have brought them exclusivity on doing a deal.

Now the Raith Chairman comes out and says threats against him are natural “he would be the same if it was his club”- if Raith were going bust would he threaten himself by leaving menacing silences on his answering machine? Yet Lenny gets a bit emotional in heat of the moment and he is the beast with seven heads and ten horns from Revelation?

most of these ‘blog’ or ‘forum’ sites are the same – regular contributors all ‘know’ each other, and sometimes new posters might feel a bit left out, but generally, I’ve found the people here to be a really good bunch, and perhaps when you’ve posted there may have been a ‘hot topic’ which folks were caught up with – there has been a lot to talk about lately, and in the last couple of days, there have been multiple articles posted by Paul – it does make it diffcult to keep up for us lurkers. unless you are able to read every post, on every page, it’s likely you might have missed someone’s response.
the guys here do seem to go out of their way to help, if humanly possible, so, stick with it.
There does seem to be a real community here, and despite the fact that no-one here knows me – I could be anyone :-) – you always seemed to be treated with respect and after the hun-calling initiation, you do feel like you ‘belong’
As yet, no-one’s questioned my allegiance. must be the cloak of invisibility, or maybe it’s just the fog here…………..

SUNDAY’S Old Firm clash at Parkhead promises to be one of the tensest ever, with genuine fears that Rangers won’t be around in their current form next season.
Since being put into administration by owner Craig Whyte on February 14, the bad news has leaked out of Ibrox on a weekly basis, with Ally McCoist claiming on Tuesday that a 12-month SFA transfer ban could kill the club.
That sanction was imposed for four breaches of the rules with clubs in Austria, Italy, France, Sweden as well as Scotland and England listed among Rangers’ creditors.
Last night, the identity of the three-man panel that imposed the transfer ban was revealed on the internet, forcing the SFA and police to step up security measures.
An SFA statement said: “We are deeply concerned that the safety and security of Judicial Panel members appointed to a recent Tribunal has been compromised by a wholly irresponsible betrayal of confidential information.
“The Judicial Panel consists of volunteers from across the spectrum of sport and business in Scotland. They are appointed on the basis of anonymity, yet all three panel members have reported intrusion into their lives, including abusive and threatening communication.
“This has been extended to directors of the Scottish FA. It culminated in a visit by police, who are taking seriously the threats made.”
Speaking about his anger at the verdict on Tuesday, McCoist said: “Plain and simply, I think it is an absolutely shocking decision. I found out last night and I was shocked and absolutely appalled by the way this supposedly independent judicial panel was coming down on us in this form.
“Who are these people? I want to know who these people are. I’m a Rangers supporter, and the Rangers supporters and the Scottish public deserve to know who these people are, people who are working for the SFA.”
On Sunday, Rangers face their fiercest rivals with the threat of liquidation heavy in the air.
No acceptable or realistic bid has been made for the club, despite being in the third month of administration.
A tax tribunal that could see them hit with a bill of around €85m is still to be delivered, with the Scottish football authorities in the dark about where the club will be next season.
Celtic’s title win has been overshadowed by events at Ibrox that resulted in a 10-point deduction in February, but Celtic clinched the championship with five matches left to play.
A home win for Neil Lennon’s side would put them 21 points ahead of Rangers with three games left to play, reducing the importance of the 10-point deduction that Rangers suffered.
To top things off, match referee Craig Thomson has pulled out of the fixture, with Calum Murray stepping in. In the last clash of the clubs at Ibrox, Murray sent off two Celtic players and banned Lennon from returning to the dug-out for the second half.
The Celtic boss will watch Sunday’s match from the stands, sitting out the final match of his two-game touchline ban for comments made after the League Cup Final defeat to Kilmarnock.

This statement shows how out of touch so called rangers people are , they still believe that they are the establishment club and as such are not subject to the same rules and regulations as the rest of us mere mortals.
They still think the knuckle-crushing , nod nod wink wink way of life practised by their drum thumping , flute playing , sash wearing forefathers is alive and well and living in 21st century Scotland.
How wrong they are , slowly but surely Scotland is being dragged ( sometimes kicking and screaming ) into the real world , where your schooling , surname , country of origin , colour and faith are no longer accepted as being a barrier to being the best that you can be .
The ” we are the people” are being left behind by those of us who want a fairer society for our children and a level playing field for our football club . No longer will we accept being told we are less than them , that we should know our place and worst of all – that we NEED them.
Scottish football doesn’t need them and Scottish society certainly doesn’t need them , they are the anchor which is holding us back , let’s cut the chain and sail off into a better future for all and not just the chosen few.

I’m not for one second saying I don’t want all investigations to carry on.
I do, I want the cheats exposed and this to be recorded for posterity.
What I’m suggesting is that the motivation for an asset stripper such as Whyte to be able to gain control over Rangers was just that, to asset strip, allow others to pick over the bones and to leave nothing behind.
Motivation for that, perhaps, was that the investigations would then go away.
So history intact, but more importantly no investigations into fudiciary responsibility, Uttering, criminality. Not that I’m suggesting this went on, only some people may be more comfortable if it wasn’t investigated.
