Ronny’s fuel for next four months

1674

There would have been no surprise reading Ronny Deila’s ‘heaven and hell’ season in the Celtic View.  It must have been an enthralling season for the manager but, good grief, it started with an 8.6 on the Strachan Early Season Scale.

These experiences mark us.  We’ve watched footballers and managers grow weary (another word for lazy) in the past, as their early groundwork waned during good times, but memories like Legia or Maribor will inform every decision Ronny Deila makes for the next four months.  He needs to use that ‘Never again’ month as fuel right now.

Did you sign the petition yesterday to demand the Scottish Government repeal their ill-conceived nonsense of a law which the entire country outside of Holyrood, and a few elites at Police Scotland, know is an abomination?  If not, here’s your chance.

Delighted Inverness game close to a sell out.

    Looking forward to the p4rty.

Having the Monday off because of holiday weekend helps.

  2. Zbyszek.

You are correct my friend damage on both sides.I missed out in my earlier post another reason I did not want to meet Legia last year was because they are a good footballing side.Celtic were not ready for Legia last year.HH

  3. The BBC are at it again with today’s story about the newest senior club in Scotland.

“Rangers say charging £5 will allow them to cover the cost of staging the match, which is up to £80,000.”

Erm……as opposed to charging the hordes nothing at all which would not have covered the cost of staging the match. Your point being what Mr Agency man that writes this rubbish or our tax funded broadcaster (Yes I still pay UK tax)

And later on in the same article we have this sentence, which effectively means that sevco have stuck two fingers up to the SPFL/SFA and all the other clubs in Scotland, who would be hoping for a decent cheque from a playoff arrangement that they all signed up for. (Sign here wee Scottish club because half of the playoff money will be split between you and all the other wee toaty clubs. There’s your slice of 5 bob, now run along.)

“Each club involved in the play-offs must give the league 50% of their home gate receipts and pay the costs of staging the match from their own portion.”

So the skint, un-creditworthy and over extended newest club in Scotland, a club that cannot meet monthly wage bills without borrowing from serial moneylenders, elected firstly to charge Zero entrance money and when that rule breaking manouvre was pointed out to them – have now decided that will charge a fiver a head. It screams out “we want all the knuckle dragging morons we can squeeze into our midden”.

    Oh and SPL/SFA GIRFUY.

Talk about putting all your chips on one spin of the wheel.

The fabric of Scotland begins to look shabby and 4th worldish.

Barely a mention of politics the entire day of a general election.

Yes it’s surprising that some fans of Celtic football club have an interest in politics.

It’s also surprising that those interested in politics might be otherwise engaged on the day of a general election.

But having said that, yes I agree there are some whose only purpose in posting here is to push a particular agenda. My impression is that it started in the run up to the referendum.

    Too true

Like the BBC, the politicos amongst us are probably severely restricted on what we can actually say on polling day. To hold strong opinions does not make us plants.

A Celtic fan who does not have an interest in politics is missing a part of the Celtic DNA.

I know of two Polish women in Dublin, who started as cleaners. They are both now doing really well, working in banks.

There is a lot in common between the Irish and the Polish.
