There would have been no surprise reading Ronny Deila’s ‘heaven and hell’ season in the Celtic View. It must have been an enthralling season for the manager but, good grief, it started with an 8.6 on the Strachan Early Season Scale.
These experiences mark us. We’ve watched footballers and managers grow weary (another word for lazy) in the past, as their early groundwork waned during good times, but memories like Legia or Maribor will inform every decision Ronny Deila makes for the next four months. He needs to use that ‘Never again’ month as fuel right now.

“the Rangers” have been clever with this game for a fiver, however we all know there is an agenda. Leaving the politics of the situation aside I am all for reducing the cost of watching football in Scotland.
Our club this season offered buy one ticket get one free, upsetting some ST holders in the process. But football is just too expensive and I would like our club to show more imagination. Yes I know there is £100 off ST’s but to maximise our crowds we have to look at all possible options.
As for a girfuy to the SFA and the spl I wish our club would also exercise some backbone when appropriate, such as the Tonev farce.

The bookies offering 4/5 for the SNP to have under 50 seats. Good investment in my humble view.

Labour sleepwalked into a massacre in Scotland. That it has cost the election in the UK should be a wake up call to the party nationwide. We need to be more in tune with our core support,their aspirations and beliefs,and we need to be more vocal about it too.
Not to do so condemns us to more of the same.
I voted with my conscience. I’m sure you did.

It’s up to Labour to do enough to win votes, whether in Scotland or England or anywhere else. To blame voters who have turned elsewhere is infantile and typical of the attitude which has them in this position.
If they arent able to lead a coalition Government tomorrow it will be Labour’s fault alone.
