  3. Eccentric, or negative, training is a common strength training technique that involves manipulating the muscle lengthening portion of an exercise, usually by slowing down the movement

learnt that today for the earlier post

  4. not to mention

Isometric exercises are tightening (contractions) of a specific muscle or group of muscles. During isometric exercises, the muscle doesn’t noticeably change length. The affected joint also doesn’t move. Isometric exercises help maintain strength.

Given all the recent changes I don’t think AP rates the youth set up.

I was hoping for SR to be seen in action before his annual loan deal.

Three very active loan deals over the years and he got games in all three.

Good reports back plus he has been rated by the managers involved.

Not bad start for a 20/21 year old but no progress so far at the club.

He bad injury in Feb / March so he might be on the recovery road at the moment.

  7. MO’R chat — not what I want to hear.

Great potential but not an EPL starter yet — to me anyway.

Early movers must be looking at him early to get him for half price.

Hopefully AP has it all under control.

Still hoping for 2 starters to arrive.

All this efforts building modern facilities — the way of the world but too many don’t think it is worth the effort.

    Shame really.

  9. Reckon away to Ross County not ideal game for bringing on youth players.

Also as we have multiple changes anyway why would he over complicate it by bringing on kids.

  10. That’s a better lineup that started the league campaign last year….. imo, of course:

    Bain

    Ralston Bitton Starfelt Taylor

    Soro McGregor

    Abada Turnbull Forrest

    Eduard

    C’mon The Celts!!!!

  11. COYBIG

  12. What is the Starz on

    Jota and O’Riley at Heathrow.

Too good an offer to refuse says Peter Lawwell

  13. manolito montoya on

    Viva Celtic Glasgow.

    Suggestion:-

Get a goverment that’ll finance and provide facilities for teachers to take football classes after school like the good old days.

Ensure “free” school meals for all pupils = solidarity amongst pupils.

    Hail Hail

  14. “O Riley waiting by his Cellphone”” Should be playing more kids”

    Celtic supporters,????????.

  15. bournesouprecipe on

McCarthy was in Stoke this morning , some going to get to his bench in Dingwall 🥲

  16. MadMitch. Agreed. As I said, I was amazed at the facilities these kids are training at 3-4 times a week and the whole coaching set up. The coaches strike the right balance between training and remembering they are kids. The attrition rate is frightening. Despite having many of the best kids in London, they expect around one in 100 to make it to the top.

The parents are, more often than not, a thorn in the side of the coaches. Too demanding, too pushy and too critical

    Worth watching.

  17. What is the Starz on

Who would win a fight between McCarthy’s cardboard cut out and Jota’s cardboard cut out

  18. Good luck Celtic, plenty opportunities for others to show what they can do, a win in 90minutes would be great.

  19. Does the EPL window close today?

Does the SPL window close tomorrow?

Speculation, rumours and rumours of rumours soon to be silenced.
