Script written for Scepovic

886

With John Guidetti ineligible, Anthony Stokes is manager Ronny Deila’s first choice striker for Europa League action.  Anthony arrived at Glasgow Airport this morning but was sent home ill.  He was a certain starter, so whatever plans the manager made, a rethink is in order.

Stefan Scepovic made his goal-scoring breakthrough against Astra last month, and followed up with a goal next time out against Kilmarnock, but he was benched for Partick and Inverness Thistle.  Despite being third on the roster he’s likely to be the solitary striker role tomorrow evening.

This is a big game in Stefan’s Celtic career.  A European ground with an 8500 capacity presents a different pressure, and expectation, than Celtic Park.  Can he rise to the challenge?  Wakaso stepped forward in Salzburg and Callum McGregor did the same in Reykjavik, Warsaw and Maribor.  Both benefited enormously as a result.  I could make a case that Stefan needs this game; the script’s written……

Many thanks to everyone who bought the DVDs from CQNBookstore since yesterday, that’s’ the deal finished.  Will try to pull another together at some point.

    Good idea.

If I may edit the englos-i am sure Thecheats subsidiary of thecheatsinternational were ‘accepted into’ our league system, not allowed into.

Important distinction if you are ‘accepted into’ the english used implies(whichever entity) ‘accepted into’ has never been part of that which it is ‘accepted into’

So for our purposes the company/org/group/club accepted into the league in 2012 had never been there before.

The bill was through the Scottish Parliament and if you check the voting records you’ll see how Labour MSP’s voted.

Over a quarter of the way through it and really enjoying it.

Talks alot about the english born irish players like himself.. The world cup qualifer against n.ireland in belfast and lots more.

Big jack always had the rebel songs on coach on way to games.. Sean south was the players favorite and got them all pumped up he said.. If i was a coach id have some music on and warn all the players not to have their own headphones in.

Bit of team spirit going to a game could mean the difference between a draw and a win.

    Yes we are Green.

We were hammered by a mediocre Legia and Maribor.

The English clubs, heck even FC Porto, are light years ahead of us. That said, to lose to Moscow at home is shocking.

  8. ” Pub team ” Maribor played well v Chelsea . Got lucky with the wrongly ruled offside goal and the penalty miss but missed two good chances. .

Great goal from the excellent Ibraimi .Dont think he will be at Maribor after the next transfer window. Excellent player !

I wouldn’t give money to the Herald. They used to discriminate against uppity Tims, nowadays their bigotry is still evident.

Moreover, why prop up a low circulation Scottish newspaper?

Anyway, good luck to those involved but money to charity would be my preference.

I’m sure that this was one of the votes where a ‘stance’ was taken by the opposition parties over certain minor details rather than the bill as a whole. I’m not totally convinced that every Labour MSP (or Tory for that matter) was in too much disagreement over it. As I’m equally not convinced that every SNP MSP was 100% behind it.

It’s one the problems with party politics and the whip system.

  14. Celtic Champs Elect,

Agree with Weeminger, I spent part of my honeymoon on Ischia, beautiful island.

As South of Tunis says, you’ll need plenty of cash, but Positano is a sight to behold also.

  15. As most of the newspapers have tread softly around the old team/new team issue and indeed generally supported the ‘big lie’, I doubt they would ever carry such a message as is being proposed. This would set up their staff and location as targets of hate or even attack.

In my opinion, the scumbags would not discriminate between the messenger and the message.

  22. Weeminger that’s the way politics work on most things where the opposition can claim they voted against a “motion” no matter their agreements with sections of the proposal.

That’s why grind my tooth when I hear George Osbourne blame Labour as the cause of UK’s economic woe’s when the Tories had not disagreed with them in the run up to the last election.

  23. Sad night for Serie A as the Manager ,the players and the support express contentment at limiting Bayern to a 2-0 win ( Roma are currently second in the two horse race that is this seasons Serie A ).

Captain of Roma – Rossi – ” they are on a different planet from us -it was an impossible challenge “…

Looks like there will be a handful of Serie A teams in the next round of the Europa League . A good indication re the current level of Italian fitba
