BBC today revealed that the SFA’s legal team are examining responses from the Associations 93 clubs to a letter dated 9 March, which reminded clubs of their responsibility to record financial records with the SFA and asking them to declare they have complied over the last 10 years.
The inquiry was established after reports that Rangers had illegally registered players for over a decade, excluding payments which were not taxed. We can presume that as the legal team are investigating, there was at least one response which returned a noncompliance.
The SFA issued a deadline for responses of 6 April and under Article 86.1 any club not responding in a timely manner would be in breach, so it’s unclear why it has taken over two months to get to this stage, so why the legal team are only “examining responses”.
We look forward to hearing an early comment on this crucial matter from the executive. It is enormously unfortunate that the SFA were unable to inform their AGM of the findings on Wednesday. BBC report that the Association legal team have yet to report to the Compliance Officer, which is the next step.

post of the week award! are you Bournesouprecipe in disguise?
1-1 in the predictor….perfect start due to change in a couple of hours time
Well done to Greece whto looked down and out at 0-1 but a poor Polish team let them back in and in the end were unlucky not to win it

See my reply to Magnificentseven.
*answer due in 15 minutes*
Pleased with that….1-1 in the Kano predictor and a draw as the first part of a coupon double.
Hansen has just predicted that Poland will beat Greece 2-1
Magnificentseven
Ditto!
Got Russia to win 2-0 in the next wan!
Really interesting game.
Couldn’t see past Poland at the interval, but the Greek’s sense of injustice served to steel the players, and the two halves were night and day. The Poles, it’s clear, were running on adrenalin in the 1st half, but seemed to wilt before our eyes in the 2nd.
Sammi a bit disapponting overall – big banana feet on for his shots, but still did the things he does well.
Despite the penalty miss, that’s a good result for Greece and a bad one for Poland. Respect to Santos for the substitutions, but why start with 4-3-3 when your fullbacks are so slow?
Shattered I thought I had 2-1 Samaras. Checked bets and had them as separate.
Bin that captain!

Much twitter chortling over Sammi’s misses, but we don’t need him for his goals (thanks be to Zeus) – he brings such a lot to the team, especially in Europe. He plays for the team – that is why he’s still at Celtic.
SOAL
Aye a saw the English flag beside your name!!
Off out, will miss the Rusos. Have a good ‘un.

Paul,
I think its pretty clear that the brief the lawyers are acting under, is to find the most lenient possibly punishment according to their laws – and to find loopholes if necessary.
Until I read ‘police’ or ‘fifa’ I wont be encouraged by a single percent

*agrees with this*
Celtic’s (Parkhead Gates) have made Samaras a player, he’s not and never will be prolific, but he’s International, – warts n all.
HH
p.s. Mark Bright (and everybody tweeting ) have never kicked an International ball in their puff.

At the end of every season you review and analyse every players performances.
Samaras had a few good games but he had lot more poor ones. He is much, much improved from this time last year – unrecognisable in fact and on his day is as good as anyone in the squad.
However, anyone who falls outside of the ‘reliable’ bracket can not have an assured future at Celtic, they can not – because just like every single other area of the squad, you are trying to improve on what you have.
There are many, many, many players out there who the manager will be able to put more trust in than Samaras.

It was clear red. Nobody has any claims on that decision in here.
The game was drew in the dressing room before second half. I can only blame that stupid Poland coach.
No substitutions means that he was with the draw result.
As I said before It’s + 26 C, very duffy weather in Warsaw. The game played under closed roof. Must be hell inside the stadium. Not doing the substitutions was the crime. Worst Poland game for months. Few guys played bad.
I meant:the coach was happy with the draw result.
I bet 0:0. Now I bet 1:1 in Russia against Czech Republic.
Good move for Cha..
Newly-promoted Bundesliga club Fortuna Dusseldorf on Friday confirmed the signing of South Korean international full-back Cha Du-Ri, 31, from Scottish champions Celtic on a two-year contract.
Former Celtic’s South Korean defender Cha Du-Ri reacts during a UEFA Europa League group I football match between Celtic and Rennes, at the Celtic Park, in Glasgow, in 2011. Newly-promoted Bundesliga club Fortuna Dusseldorf on Friday confirmed the signing of South Korean international full-back Cha Du-Ri on a two-year contract.
Born in the German city of Frankfurt, where his Korean father played professionally for Eintracht Frankfurt, Cha studied in Korea before signing his first contract with Bayer Leverkusen in 2002.
He later spent time at Eintracht, Mainz and Koblenz before moving to Freiburg for the 2009/10 season.
Cha was at Celtic for the last two seasons and, as well as winning the SPL title this season, he was also part of the squad that won the Scottish Cup in 2011.
“Cha Du-Ri has already shown his potential in his previous years spent in the Bundesliga,” said Fortuna board member Wolf Werner.
“With him, we now have an experienced, versatile and international class player for our right flank.”
In total, Cha has made 115 Bundesliga appearances and been capped 64 times by South Korea.
The chairs that the panel on ITV are sitting on are not good for the old back.
Poor posture.Hope Roy Keane has packed some Ibuprofen.

i see your attitude to Sammy is reverting to type …………..
So….the Greek striker…named after an unpleasant gynaecological complaint…….
breaks Ol’ Zbygy’s heart….
Life’s A Bitch….
Well we can rule out the offer we cant refuse for Sammi after that showing
Gutted that the Holy Goalie isn’t in the squad he would’ve been a better first choice
Thought Sammy did alright, should have scored though
