Spineless, unacceptable attack on Celtic fans

619

Your reputation was dragged into the mud by Social Justice Minister, Humza Yousaf, MSP,on Twitter this morning.  He wrote:

“On upcoming Celtic Vs Rangers match, we need clear messaging from everyone that fans must stay at home. If Police intelligence tells us, despite clear messaging, that groups of fans are going to gather to square off with each other, we need to consider if game should be postponed.”

“If Police intelligence tells us groups of fans are going to square off with each other” is his technique of throwing the blanket of blame over Celtic fans to prevent him addressing the threat of further social unrest head on.  He feels safe saying adding “Celtic” instead of calling out the true problem.  It is as spineless as it is unacceptable.

Be clear: there are absolutely no plans to postpone this game and there is no police intelligence that fans will square off.  None.  What there is, is a significant threat that the problems of last weekend are repeated on 21 March.  As far as this SNP government is concerned, we dare not speak that problem’s name.

This has nothing to do with Celtic and nothing to do with Celtic fans but your government is happy to trash the reputation of both.  He is toying with the reputation of the innocent and the occasionally vulnerable young.  If a Celtic lad turned up wearing lipstick Yousaf’s head would explode.

A lead in the polls does not permit you a free kick at Celtic fans.  Social Justice Minister, give me strength, you are contemptible.

Ha! Was just watching that. Especially seasons 3&4 with JB coaching.

The basketball version is pretty good as well.

The scramble regarding Forster I get .I don’t get the scramble regarding KT

  3. Loved Martin O’Neill and he transformed our club. However, the game has moved on a lot and I’m not convinced he has. Other than his first year or so at Villa, his club career since leaving us has been on a downward trajectory. Read up on his time at Forest where players had little respect for his man-management or training methods.

Should be left as a glorious part of our past while we look for someone forward-thinking and able to push us on.

  4. !!Bada Bing!! on

Forster, Boruc,Eddy, absolutely great deals using try before you buy, a loan with an agreed fee in place, loans to fill jerseys, unless a lot of injures, are a lack of squad management, and buying good players.

  5. You know i think the context of thius time is important and might have a bearing on what we do as a Club………..

Celtica in transition needs brains, attitude ability and quality. Mon has a lot of that, and had the better of hundom, crucially – naturally.

We’ll need tons of that next season to right the Good Ship Celtica and set us a course for improvement.

I read something the other day I liked ” The older I become , the more like myself I become ” I loved that.

Our culture needs as much nurturing as our strategy does…I think………so I’d amass as many hunskelpers to help as possible………

    It needn’t be forever….

remember the huns have only won, 1 in 10…………

We have a culture. I think thats our strength.

    Their weakness is hatred.

    Love Life, Love Celtic

  6. …meant to say – Mon not as manager – but in there to make sure any experiments dont get out of hand……….

  7. How come there are Hundreds of spectators at the golf at Sawgrass all off them to be fair with face masks on, Then why can’t a few hundred of us Celtic Supporters not being allowed in to Celtic Park

  8. lets all do the huddle on

there is no reason not to be allowing a limited number of spectators into sports like golf and horse racing which have huge expanses of fully open spectating areas

football will have to wait its turn

I’m thinking it’s outdoor sport and social distancing is being adhered to.

Either that or they seen last weekend at George Square and thought,

  10. What’s the big deal about Brendan. Leicester are second in their league and we are second in our league.

    What’s the difference?

    £9.5m for Brendan.

    Well played lawwell.

Ernie In my eyes the biggest ‘cult’ in U.K, if not the world, is the masonic cult for which the majority in the U.K, im sure, will be unionists. This is a forum for followers of the Celts no the Cults hopefully

*wee bit late with this due tae the snow melting and garden cleaning taking place, anyway they are a dwindling clique, estimated at 6 million of the world population or 0.078%.

The largest single jurisdiction, with a membership estimated at around a quarter million, is the United Grand Lodge of England, 0.45% of the population.

The Grand Lodges of Scotland and Ireland combined have approximately 150,000 members 1.4%; Dublin Castle has a lot tae answer for there.

The States where it is no secret (nae pun intended) they were founded on craft principles; total membership is just under 2 million or 0.6%.

Well down from its peak in 1959 when there were more than 4 million members.

If you were white, American and middle class, you were fairly likely to be a freemason.

Personally IMHO they are not nearly as powerful as they were, in fact it’s my belief that Opus Dei runs the justice system down there. Tangerine heid was only a pawn in the game.

The Opus Dei Catholic Information Centre, just two blocks from the White House, has become a bustling gathering place for conservative academics, politicians, journalists, young professionals. The noon Mass became known as a “Who’s Who” scene in conservative circles.

Not that I have any great love for an organisation whose founder had leanings toward Mussolini and Franco and whose followers supported Pinochet, although I toyed with it about 40 year ago, but as an avowed socialist felt it wisnae for me so joined the Secular Franciscans instead, now there’s a 180°swing.

However you are correct the majority is definitely in the UK, possibly tories but don’t be surprised at SNP followers in there as it is seen as a Scottish order possibly due tae the templars influence.

Over 35 year ago I read a book called The Brotherhood by Stephen Knight (who mysteriously died) and he proclaimed back then as far as he knew there were no Labour Party members in it, his one doubt was Tony Benn due to his honorary knighthood, which he gave up, but proved this wasn’t the case.

On this the 25th anniversary of Dunblane question should still be asked as to why Lord Cullen met the staff of the Scottish Records Office and recommended that the Hughes Report be placed under 100-year closure.

Also why when the sitting PM at the time breathed a sigh of relief on hearing that the aforementioned Baron Cullen of Whitekirk, who I have no doubt would be a member of the speculative society, would be chairing the Public Inquiry into the shootings at Dunblane Primary School.

Former CQN contributor Tom Minogue aka Big Nan appeared in Holyrood to speak about craft members on the bench and asked that they admit their allegiance tae that order.

He asserted that masonry outwith Scotland and the black north is seen as non-sectarian and a wee group of middle-aged, middle-class, Burns-lovers; chubby chaps with beards who treat old-age-pensioners at Christmas and generally indulge in philanthropic acts, spreading happiness and well being in the community.

Over the pond here unlike the Lions, Kiwanis, Rotary and Knights of Columbus etc they are not viewed as a service club due tae their oaths and secrecy and seen as a self service club.

However unfortunately in the land of my birth in this wee anti-Catholic part of the world it is also tinged with purple and orange. For more info on this insidious cult in the most bigoted wee country read tom minogue.com

Unfortunately for us Celtic supporters they have their grip (again no pun intended) on our game and always have done.

And yet in spite of this our club has amassed 51 Championships, 40 SC and 19 LC as well as numerous other honours including the Big Cup as well as the FIFA Fan Award, 2 honours sevco will never attain, so during this short period of grief let that sink in tae the super spreaders.

Regrettably until the country that is viewed upon as inventing the modern world is rid of this insular and actually very dangerous cult it will NEVER attain its role in society.

Get rid of the breest barers and it truly will become “a nation again” and not a puppet of the ancestors of a parcel of rogues.
