A stalemate was one of the more positive possible outcomes from today’s SPL meeting. Such are the layers of intimidation which have been levelled across a spectrum of football clubs, bodies and individuals in the last week, it was difficult to imagine SPL chairmen standing up for sporting integrity after Sandy Jardine’s ominous words.
Unfortunately, for the Magnificent Duff and Phelps, they will have to shred plans to blame someone else for the shambles they are, kind of, administering. Their creative talents will be taxed to the limit to explain for another two weeks why it is in creditors interests to consume available monies while Craig Whyte has not moved an inch in 10 weeks on demands for his shares of stadium security.
The narrative of this story is also important. Angry Ally could have blamed the SPL chairmen for Rangers imminent descent into oblivion, and demanded to know where they live, but this would have been a corruption of the truth. Rangers will not die because of the SPL or SFA but because their own misdeeds of the last 20 years are about to catch up with them.
This will be their final narrative. Be angry at those who administered and profited from the EBTs, no one else.

Sparkle – should’ve added that it’s just my opinion. I really cannot see any way out for them now. The old certainties have gone for them, their old allies at the SFA are too busy covering their own asses to have time to cover their favourite clubs.
I have never been so certain. Old Rangers are dead. New Rangers are going to experience a difficult and painful birth with very severe growing pains for a long time to come.

I don’t attend games due to location, but my family spend around 1000-1200 each season on mechandising, sadly that would stop.
I know the only ones that would hurt are the club, but we will not be party to any charade.
We have always know that the referees were against us and gave them a hand when they could, but the revelations of the past few months have cranked things up to a new level altogether, their level cheating has astounded me.
The club have a choice to make here, stand up for the integrity of the game, or they will lose a lot more than my familys money, there are many who would not go back, yourself included.
I am of the opinion that the only hope that some form of right will prevail against the machinations of Donkey On Casters and Miller is the Boogly Eyed Bugle Boy of Company B.

After listening to Doncaster on shortbread the hun newco is a stick on certainty to be in the SPHell.
Traynor was beside himself trying to get him to admit, if it is a hybrid Bill Miller newco, and it is in before the end of the season (11th May, date specified in Millers bid) then there is no sanction that can be applied under the current SPHell rules to said newco.
Doncaster was spin, spin, spinning, it would have to be put before the “SPHell board” to see if further sanctions would be applied.
This fits nicely into the scenario of P McConnvilles blog, add to that Miller has been speaking to the SPL and SFA for 7 weeks, hence the adjournment today, no deal busting SPHell further sanctions for pheonix clubs, these bawbags are going to get away with it!
