    Simple pass Ryan.

41 minutes – Easy ball on but you tried something that went straight to a St Johnstone player.

He drove forward, shot and won the first of three corners which handed momentum back to opposition all the way to half time.

old macdonald kind enough To let St J use the farm today – terrible conditions. that said too many loose passes from Christie and Griffiths in particular and taylors lack of pace being exposed. earn you corn NFL!

  5. Dreadful surface,

FF forced to go long making it a game of second balls.

Any sort of result and get down the road.

Tight game. Celtic will need to grind this one out.

Hopefully a mistake will not cost us. That’s the only way I see St Johstone scoring.

  7. Nir our best player so far, we’re defending comfortably but not creating much today. Griff, Eddie, Christie and the two wide men are not having much success.

If we can’t win this today, make sure we do not lose it, Celtic.

  8. ‘It’s the same for both teams’

I hate that saying, it’s a lot different if you are actually trying to play the ball on the ground and not just lumpin it up the pitch like St. Johnstone are doin

Game has gone exactly as I predicted. Very flat after Thursday. You can see they’re down. Would’ve taken a draw before the game. Still so minded.

  10. Philbhoy, big Tam was drapped 3 days after kicking Helmut Haller up the chorus and verse, this was the start of his relationship with Jock deteriorating and he would be gone 2 years later.

Unfortunately for us we had a surplus of left backs at one time and both Wullie O’Neil and then John Gorman we’re allowed tae leave. Tam’s demise meant we would end up playing Brogie, Pat McCluskey and even big Tid there before left winger Andy Lynch, who also had a problem with Jock, managed tae claim the spot.

  11. GG I was hoping Wolves would draw sevco, as it’s the birthplace of the term marauding huns.

Best way to get over Thursday is to put a performance today and get into the next round. Not seeing that much of an effort.

I can’t help but think Ryan is not hitting the heights he can and neither the strikers are as well. Bit Blunt on the tattie field.

Lowered our game to their level.

Big 45 to get this done, not a fan of replay talk.

  13. Back out on the quagmire.

    2nd half begins.

    Early goal please Eddy.

STJ fan next to the mic roundly applauds his STJ back on with an accompanying belch.

Under these playing conditions , I can well understand why some feel a draw would be acceptable.

For myself , can`t summon up huge enthusiasm for the SFA`s marquee tournament.

Hard to support anything associated with the SFA.
