  1. MADMITCH

Im not sure the fud involved in the throwing of the firework is of voting age.

However you seem pretty sure of that fact and his previous voting pattern.

I am truly in your shadow.

  2. Well, that was a hard watch in the second half. Thought Burke’s balls control was worse than Broonie’s, but of course that’s not what the rags want to talk or write about. Eejits are everywhere – we’re no different, but they need to be outed. With abundant cameras it shouldn’t be too difficult.

  3. And then there is the fashion angle — so many green parkas on show that the car park must have been “jam” packed with scooters — some real / some “My Little Pony” types because they don’t have a licence.

Complete wallopers who all vote Nat because that is the trendy thing to do.

  4. Thought N’tcham looked good against the stickies before tiring. Tonight he started off mainly loose and shoite, before regressing still more!!

We started well. Got cocky. Got slack. Got a Bit Bang on average.

Poor izzie is a husk if his former self.

Ollie Burke. Runs like Alan wells. Control like orson Wells!!!

    Deffo retro red for Broonie.

Deffo strict liability if the pyro pricks don’t wise up.

I was much more excited at 7.45 than 9.45

  5. What is the Stars on

    Madmitch

    They all vote Nat…???

No one was hurt…its fecking stupid carry on..

But no one threw a bottle directly at a player

No one ran on and attacked a player.

    Calm down

  6. Watched the game at work. Many of us thought for a minute ( myself included) that the referee was going to take the teams off the park.

Ryan Christie got a mega fright. After a great performance in a low key match we ” reward” him like that.

This is not a single demeanour, this is a trend and make no mistake , it will cost us dearly.

  7. On the banger thrower, naw i dont think we should ‘out’ him

But i do think the GB should sort it out internally if indeed it did come from their section

  8. TLT @ 10.26

Then decline is the only outcome.

If we are happy to turn the club into the Bronski’s — small town boys — then we deserve to fail.

Either we try to move forward or we will die of boredom sometime in 2022.

Our legacy and history will have been wasted on the CEO’s various bonus plans and local bragging rights.

  9. Well, that was yet another turgid performance. We’re just going through the motions here which isn’t surprising given the gap.

Following the pitch invasion on Sunday and tonight’s firecracker incident I think it’s time to shut the GB area YET AGAIN. The Clearasil Commandos have clearly failed to accept that they are NOT bigger than the club and that their unhealthy attention seeking behaviour is simply unacceptable.

I accept that tonight the missile wasn’t dangerously close to the keeper but it’s only a matter of time before someone is injured by this behaviour

  10. Batteries and bottles have been thrown prior to tonight and no teams have been taken off the pitch. But it does need to stop. No one wants it and it’s extremely fucking childish.

  11. MADMITCH

take it easy , they are either called Dave and drive a van or get a lift home on someones scooter.

The suspect list is narrowing by the minute, you are doing Police Scotlands job for them.

I totally agree they are a shame on our support, I travelled in the 80’s amd 90’s with the away support .

Thankfully they were all model citizens.

  12. WITS @ 10.35

Actions like tonight make it much more likely that another bottle will be thrown or another player assault will be attempted.

Or instead of bottles it will be bangers thrown at the players — including our players.

The walloper(s) involved tonight just make it easier for others to hurt us.

Immature stupidity — is that the best we can expect?

  13. Are the GB the new Bronnie? That is blamed for everything. No proof it has anything to do with them but lets close down the only spark of life and colour at Celtic park because some eejit threw a pyro on to the pitch at St Mirren and he was standing close to a GB banner. Were the GB even at the game?

  14. JMcCormick…I’ve sed it before and I’ll say it again…isolated incidents like tonites will be traced back to police provocateurs…why?…it suits a political agenda

  15. Back to the football. Oliver Burke will not be a Celtic player.

Finance plays a part but he is just a modern day Alan McInally or a poor version of Big Yogi.

    Discuss…

  16. GP @ 10.36

    I had similar thoughts myself.

I’m sure that there are other GK’s in the SPL who would have tried to gain an advantage from the situation.

He seemed to be pretty shaken when the cameras focused in on him.

Not sure what we could have done if the MIB were convinced that he couldn’t continue?

  17. what’s happened to the all seated stadium criteria , is it a free for all now and everyone can stand making the seats now a safety hazard for benign the way.

  18. Now that I’ve posted…some wee ned will admit culpability…because he was encouraged by Mr Unknown

  19. THELURKINTIM

I understand your train of thought. However at this moment Scottish football is way down the list of political opportunities for mischief and misconduct.

  20. SCANIEL.

Your absolutely correct re camera’s around, disgraceful behavior by supposed Celtic supporter.

If I were the CEO, I’d ask the Green Brigade high heed yins to come to his office and ask who it was that threw the banger,If they deny they know who knows who threw the banger,he should warn them, The next time it happens,We will suspend 10 Green Brigaders for life each time it happens.

I know that most will think that that is a bit hard, but it may make the culprits think twice the next time.

    JMCCORMICK on 3RD APRIL 2019 10:48 PM

Burke couldn’t lace big yogi’s sannies.

  22. JMcCormick…footbal has, and will always be, a political divide and conquer function of the state

  23. Btw re. Flares and bangers

In pretty much every stadium in every league throughout Europe and South America these are common week in week out at their games

It’s only in the UK, specifically the sanitised EPL, is it called out and dramatised as some kind of mirror on the downfall of civilisation as we know it

Not condoning what happened the night but at the same time some people need to chill out about it

  24. !!Bada Bing!! on

Guys on here slagging St M GK,look at Christie’s reaction? They are condoning these fuds, who embarass the Club, they can GTF.

  25. Jeepers OldTim, you are the Poster I most admire here but this one at 10.53 was ill advised to say the least.

Put me in mind of Black & Tan reprisals, Nazi POW concentrations camp reprisals, really gave me the shivers

Think I’ll just log off for the night.

  26. OldTim67…I know it’s been a while since you were young…but like everyone else you’re jumping to conclusions ;-))

I’ll be more than happy to admit I hav been a tit over this…when proved wrong

    H.H.

  27. Big G…last I heard it was types of standard grades…basic, medium and advanced…so that everyone had a chance of passing…sorta defeats the principle of exams ;-))
