Tie is over but that is an extremely disappointing performance. Hugely wasteful and again terrible at set pieces against a very very poor team.
Some rank rotten decision making and very little penetration. Going on that performance we will drop a lot of points this season in games we should be winning comfortably.
That might seem extreme but we were incapable of killing the game off and they, who looked amateur, could still have sneaked a few due to really slack play.
Just hopeless.
No one is blameless here.
Passing is worse than schoolboyish.

Defence May look a wee bit fragile but strike team are firing blanks.
Calum faded badly second half along with James and Olivier.
I know it may cause some consternation, but I though ML helped steady the defence, apart from a slow pass back which caused Gordon to scamper out of goal.
Brown was brilliant. An anchor in midfield.
Our final ball around penalty box was woeful.
No one seems to look up before make a cross or pass and don’t get me started
on the defence.
That was a poor performance from a Celtic team with no confidence and a poor defence.Suduva were as poor a side as you could get in Europe I dont know what the problem is with the team but eight in a row looks a long way off also Simo is not happy he looked happy to be replaced and as for Gordon at the goal he came out like a man with no arms mind you the defence did not help him Come on Brendan earn your money and get the team back on track.H.H.
The result wasn’t the worst away in europe; aspects of the performance weren’t bad. The awful thing is the feeling that anyone can score against us from any position, whether they’re good bad or different, in the match or out of it !
When playing packed defences why do our wide players, KT and Forrest in particular, always come inside into bodies? Why not go outside and get the ball into the box?

Ntcham absolute mince? You haven’t a clue. Tired towards the end, yes, overall our best player and only one trying to create.
We played like a bunch of strangers who had just met. It’s a team game, something’s not right . Brendan sat on his arse for 70 mins. Maybe that tells us more than anything. Trying to prove a point to PL? Well don’t do it at our expense Brendan. Fuck the pair of ye’s.

It wasn’t. Sudova pressed Tierney who played the ball back.
They then pressed the rear defense and it was causing problems.
Izzy was on to defend not attack. They fell away after the subs.
I thought some of Ntcham’s passing shocking and James Forrest was relatively anonymous but both are good players . So is McGregor but nothing outstanding from him either.

Trying to put a brave face on it. We look listless and uninspired. Something has caused that.
There’s no getting away from it, no matter how much of a happyclapper one is.
I’ve gone from being a happyclapper to a happyshafter in the last couple of weeks, but still believe that we just need a spark to get us going again. It’s baffling how we’ve gone from being invincibles to a team of individuals in such a short space of time.

Just in so haven’t watched the game – lot of disappointment on here – which is probably justified but no need for the swearies.

Brendan might think holding possession is the be all of football BUT piss poor teams like this lot can hold out against us and make us look a shambles with 5% of the ball.
Suduva look not much better than a mid to lower spl side…..we need a rethink.
We have regressed and we will not boss SPL teams playing like this and we will be susceptible to any attacks against us. We need to have players capable of winning at Tynecastle in a fight. £6 million on a few hard bs to beat up on the other spl teams then bring on our boys and play.
This would also give us a bit of leeway to take big offers for diddies like boyata and have a basic replacement while we seek an upgrade.
BUT we desperately need some coaching in some basics.
1. Throw ins …lets retatin the ball
2. Dont pass back to gordon … he is useless.
3. Defending set pieces. If you cant beat the attacker jump into him to weaken the header
4. block crosses
5. pick up runners … stop marking (dead) space and ball watching
6. stop giving the ball away when under no pressure.
I am now worried…if Kennedy was the solution where have we been looking for centre halfs for the last 2 years. Let Izzy go then bring him back give Calvin new deal then send him out on loan…looks chaotic.
No more vanity projects like invincible runs..we need to blood players over a few games when we get chances like that and see how good they are. Guys like Allan and Christie should have been given 5 games on the spin…never got a chance… no more loans unless we can buy.
Come on Celtic ..where is that team of the first few friendlies. (plus a couple of defenders please)
First half was ok, second half pretty poor against a really weak team. I thought we played very well against AEK, who are a far better team than Suduva, but our defence threw it away. I think we suffered a CL elimination hangover after we gifted them the equaliser tonight. No real positives but on to Sunday now. Two victories before we meet the Dirty Dozen please, Celtic.

Auldheid, we failed to win four games in a row in the league last year. This is not the team that rode the crest of a wave to an unbeaten treble, the warning signs have been there. We won the treble last year and that papered over a lot of them.
How we are in this position is beyond me. We had everything going for us at the beginning of the summer and have contrived to squander the momentum we had; our confidence; and the goodwill of the manager.

So that was our response to going out of the CL?
That was an awful performance and one of many at this start of the season.
This Celtic team are eminently capable of shipping points to Aberdeen, Hearts, hibs, Kilmarnock and Sevco. Consequently we are in a dogfight for the league this year.
That kind of limp performance, apart from leaving our European hopes in the balance, breathes life into the zombies. They smell blood. They think they’re onto a promise now.
