I see a justification for yesterday’s vote has been issued. The chairman of one club spoke to several of my contacts in the media with a completely different version, using both the F word and the C word.
Apparently he believes several SPL clubs are being led by the C word – Celtic. Or to be more precise, “F***ing Celtic”, a name reserved for use by a specific demographic. All off the record, of course, but incredibly indiscrete, betraying his world view.
If that’s how you feel, man up and say so publicly. Tell us who you think is really bringing Scottish football to its knees, I am sure everyone will agree this is a time for frankness.

Not too bothered about the vote against league reco to be honest, the thing that gets me is the about turn by gilmour?? Is it just us Celtic fans who look at this and say ‘hey wait a minute’?? Been off-blog for a while so maybe missed a reasoned, detailed explanation.
Can someone please explain to me why a vote against 12-12-18 (which is what Gilmour has done) is a vote for sevco ratners fc? A wee while ago, everyone on here was moaning at the thought of 12-12-18 and that stupid 8-8-8 split after 22 games. Does that make us all h*n sympathisers?
Truly confused and looking forward to someone setting it all out for me.

I’m with you. I understand the main issue for “The Rangers” with the 12-12-18 would have been that they remained in the bottom tier and weren’t promoted to a higher division (even though they would have now been in the 3rd tier)’ I think. From this Celtic fan’s point of view the status quo or the 12 12 8 8 8 suggestion wouldn’t have made any noticable impact given that we are always likely to be in the top part of the top league. But I think that the whole package of measures might have benefited clubs in general with Celtic reportedly willing to take a £1m annual reduction in income to fund those measures.
I’m sure one of our more learned bloggers will provide you with a more detailed explanation.
