The future is Scott Bain’s, if he can grasp it

842

It’s just another story of a player sitting in the stands at Dundee before moving to the bench at Hibs and then a four year contract at Celtic.  All in less than four months.  Scott Bain is 26 years old and were it not for a personal issue with Neil McCann would still be at Dens Park.

Instead, he will see out his 20s as a Celtic goalkeeper.  He is 11 years younger than Dorus de Vries (37) and 9 younger than Craig Gordon (35).  He caught Brendan Rodgers eye and is now a development project for the manager.  The future is his, if he can grasp it.

Congratulations on your new contract, Scott.

I will clarify, it is lobster tail so the mince has a chance!

It also depends whether the mince is in it’s original form as a 5 ton Aberdeen Angus bull!

As for the tottie…..wel….l it just sits there like a couch potato=))

aye, but all it would take is for one courageous wee bit o mince to distract the beast, then all the others would pile in and do what aggrieved mince does to a lobster.

I think I’ve just invented socialism.

  5. I’VEHADTOCHANGEMYNAME, yes loved kojo,s way of writing, but hard to follow some times.hh.

It’s interesting no one mentions Kojo.

    ————

Not quite correct. I mentioned on Wednesday night that if Kojo was still posting we would have known a lot more about Ewan Henderson.

Imo , since Kojo’s departure nobody on the blog has replicated his informative posts on our young players.

    HH.

  7. Geez Oh, To Be a Hun or a Bluenose?

WTF, If you spent one ‘Thin Dime’, to coin a phrase, to go and watch them, then YOU ARE A HUN.

Interestingly enough, if my memory serves me correctly ,it was Kojo’s political/idealogical views that made him unpopular with many. His football posts on our developing players were excellent.

  13. The hand of God on

Watched the Livi v Utd play off game tonight it was brutal cant see Livi beating Thistle or County also cant see Anthony Ralston making the grade at Celtic which is a shame..

  14. GORDYBHOY64, dont think anyone said bring him back, just saying about the style of his posts.hh.

    Horrible, tragic day at Bradford.

Watching it unfold live on TV was somehow worse than Hillsbrough for me.

Hope the nightmares have receded for your wife.

  16. Wasn’t there a whole dug thing with that particular “character” as well….. or was that another one………?

  17. I would be in the if you support them you are a hun camp.

Had a disagreement with ED on here one time, didn’t fall out over it, what got to me was all the posters fawning over him when he posted after being away for a time, the same fawning wasn’t afforded to Celtic men who posted after an absense.

  18. Bankiebhoy1,

aye he blew his multiple poster cover one day by

posting in his Kojo style while logged on as someone else

You have a nose for ‘vibes’.

    Styles may change…..but vibes……………………………

Funnily enough when Kojo stuck to football he was a decent poster..

But when he started on about Vegas, rightwing politics & FoxNews folk he was a different man.

Sometimes during live game updates he would forget “tae pit oan thon ye ken it maks sense” stuff and just post straight.

Maybe a bit Michael Marra “Written down drunk but posted sober”

  23. I agree, mostly, that if you support them you’re a Hun.

However, I know a few guys who are genuinely gutted at what’s happened to them and know who – SDM – is responsible.

It’s hard to call them Huns.

  24. THE EXILED TIM. how are you, had a feeling you would be in that camp, smiley thing, hope you and the dugs are well.hh.

I always loved reading Kojo on here on match days, because his love of the team was there for all to see. He kicked every ball.

His views on ethnicity during the week, not so much.
