Nir Bitton’s goal was special but two goals last night were more significant. Leigh Griffiths header for the first belied the player’s height and stature. His scoring record with his head in recent months has been spectacular, whether darting into space to nick the ball goal-wards, as he did away to Dundee and Dundee United, or when he uses his salmon-leap to get up and stay up.
When he was at Livingston Leigh was the next hot young thing. For whatever reason his path to the top wasn’t straight, but he’s now first choice striker at Scotland’s top club and making the most of it.
James Forrest’s goal was also full of what we want to see from him. One-on-one with a defender, with space to run into, he did what he needed to do. His pace took him past the defender and turned an opportunity into great chance.
Several players are finishing the season strongly.

As I’ve posted before, when the jock stein stand opened there was six of us that sat together, I was the only Catholic.
Religion never came into the discussion, we were just Celtic men through and through.
Saying that, each to their own, I have my beliefs and expect people to leave me be to follow my convictions.
Not that it happens in the hun work I earn my corn in…hun monkey bassas :))))

She’d prefer to be doing that but she’s at an event (that apparently I can’t mention) in a building (that I can’t mention)
:-)
Meanwhile I’m meant to be packing for us leaving for the caravan at 4!

I was thinking of Celtic chants that used to be regular but are no longer heard
Whatever happened to “King Billy had an army of a hundred thousand men…..”?
P.S. I don’t need smart arse answers like “they all got shot, I heard”

Exactly, faith & football are 2 different things but as you say can have an impact, I have my own faith any other Celtic fan or player I don’t care what race, colour or creed they are, I question my own faith in a daily basis so I am in no position to question anybody else’s, have been told to get off CQN and watch the fitba results,
