You’re making Whyte look silly

1334

When asked if the £33m he claimed to have lodged for the purchase of Rangers, was “Your own money from your own personal wealth?” in today’s Scotland on Sunday (SoS), Craig Whyte told the newspaper, “Yes, that was done as far back as November 2010.”  Perhaps not the most useful information to put into the public domain during divorce proceedings.

I think every single one of you who referred to Craig Whyte as a billionaire, or the cheeky “MBB” (Motherwell born billionaire) owes him an apology.  While Hero Whyte didn’t deny he was a billionaire he told SoS he doesn’t “talk about [his]personal wealth to anybody” and that those of you who make continual references to his considerably wealth are “making [him]look silly”.

Let’s be clear, this man does not need you to make him look silly.  Please desist and apologise.

    What a fantastic weekend folks.

I’ve witnessed some right bad Hun teams through the years but today was truly shocking.

Usually I would feel uneasy even with Dun.Utd 2 up but never felt that way today. They were truly awful and long may it continue.

On now to Tynecastle on Wednesday and a big danger stands in our midst-Collum.

How that thug Bartley remained on the field amazed me.

  2. Snake Plissken

Was that after plg was sacked?

He and fplg must have some combined cup winning mentality.

    Larsson…. That. Is. Sensational!!!!

you’ve got to try this Brandy an Blackcurrant ice cream – might re-make it for “the day”. Recipe is simple, you get ornery ice-cream and add a dash of Ribena. Pour a half-pint of brandy.

Put the ice-cream in the fridge and drink the brandy.

It improves with age, just repeat.

Very surprised with Rooney’s Man of the Match.

    Are they forgetting Howard Webb?

  5. Celtic men and women have really shown their humour, irony, sarcasm and razor sharp wit this weekend.

Lots of good songs, Billy Joel and Don McLean’s classics have been bastardised to a hilarious degree.

However, I am waiting for someone better than me to take it on another level

Can anyone dub this magnificent little link with Andrea and Swally?

Could be comedy gold….RFC, time to say goodbye

  6. Someone posted a link a little earlier to the BBC interviewing the orcs leaving the game and what struck me was the fact that they all seemed to expect “Mr Whyte, HMRC or somebody” to sort it out. Really encapsulates the difference between us and them. When we faced a similar threat Celtic supporters got organised and started campaigning for change. They on the other hand sit with their hands out expecting someone else to do the work for them, this sense of entitlement baffles me.

  7. Has been a great weekend.BUt we have a big game coming against the mini ones,we must not give the skint lot any hope that they can win this league,it will be a hard game and we must be prepared for a battle.I am sure Lenny will be.

How can you be amazed that the thug bartley remained on the park!?

    Brother C***m was the mib!

    Keep up man!

  9. Re Nevin

Only my opinion, but I am sure I remember Nevin on a pay TV channel , earlier this season in a match involving Rankers and he seemed to be more reticent to voice his opinions on fans and their singing.

    Maybe I am mistaken

    Maybe I am a cynic

Maybe he didn’t hear any offensive songs

Or maybe he knew that if he slagged off fans on a commercial PPV channel then fans would complain and vote with their wallets. Surely he wasn’t worried about not getting invited back and the money earner drying up.

Of course, he needn’t have worried as they got knocked out.

I was at the last game two freak goals at HT then we ran riot………………..4:2 nice tune to it:)

  11. Tricoloured Ribbon,

I kept waiting for them to do something in the second half, but it didn’t happen. Did the Dundee United keeper have to make a save in the second half?

And they didn’t once get into the box to give Collum the chance to award a penalty!

    Aye that was the game.

  13. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

Ah,hell. I knew this would happen. Getting flashbacks to my early teens, standing in the CELTIC END. Standing in the enclosure when we got beat 3-1,we JRP Gordon doing us up wi a penalty at one end,the players refusing to kick-off,and fans trying to invade the pitch.

Shouldnae focus on anything to do wi that lot,bad for my mental wellbeing.

Just in time for a few nightmares before my nightshift,smashing…..
