@celticfc: Celtic team to play @saintmirrenfc Gordon; Matthews, Denayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Johansen; Forrest, Commons, Armstrong; Stokes (MH)
Dundee United have issued a statement following a newspaper article claiming that manager Jackie McNamara has benefited financially from the sale of Ryan Gauld to Sporting Lisbon, Andy Robertson to Hull City and Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong to Celtic. McNamara has waived a confidentiality clause in his contract to allow the club to clarify that, while he does receives some bonuses connected with transfers, he is not involved in such negotiations. United also stress that he had not received anything like the reported £500,000.

Happy with a 2-0 win tonight as we can be a bit sluggish after a break.
Delighted to be proved wrong and win by a barrow load, but 3 pts and an 8 pt lead over the Sheep will do nicely.

Further to your caht about the Drookit Duck pub in Falkirk.
It was good as it was close to Grahamston train station & Brockville. We drunk in it prior to games at Brockville.
The owner of it in the early nineties who was a Celtic fan and friendly with the late Brian McLauglin, our best prospect in the seventies.
Interesting that the Scottish MSM were quick off the mark to pick up on speculation surrounding Jackie McNamara’s contractual terms and potential conflict of interest.
I didn’t see quite the same eagerness to ask any searching questions about the fat pie-eating gardener? Funny that…..

Anthony reminds me of John Prescott. Both appear utterly useless to those of us on the outside yet they always survived/survive.
I actually met Prezza outside the useless Scottish parliament. Despite my being with a lovely young French friend, Prezza took time to talk with us…
Evening, interesting team tonight, few Bhoys on the bench will feel they should be playing , Bhoys that are starting will hopefully be up to prove they deserve to start

put a tenner on Celtic to win 6-1 at odds of 60/1
