    It’s always been a bugbear of mine, nobody wanting the ball. To me, it shows players either lacking confidence or afraid of the retribution of fecking up.

     

     

    It’s the same with the sideways passing…don’t give the ball away and no blame can be laid at my door!

     

     

    James Forrest made a mistake at a prior game that led to us losing a goal…que sera sera…at least he wasn’t hiding.

     

     

    Is it a wonder why supporters with books are staying away?

     

     

    If the players are being coached to not be adventurous and put us to sleep by not making a mistake with forward imaginative movement… Win at all costs! it’s not the Celtic way.HH

    We were there before 2pm but had shifted nearer the burger van – in fact big fallon scolded us for encroachment.

     

     

    Poland was fantastic – they know how to really celebrate Christmas in a Christian way. I visited my Mrs family home just 2 km from the Belarus border – he mum has a 10 ft crucifix and statues in her front garden . The tears were running from my eyes .

    I worked in engineering all my life. . Hardly a tim gaffer or even anyone promoted to technical roles . I’m happy to say that changed a wee bit over the last 20 years but at one point they started 12 huns in our place – eventually I spoke to the production manager who happened to be a grand master . Warned him that if he continued to employ incompetents the business would go down the swanie.

     

     

    In the next couple of months young sipsini and another couple of tims were started.

    I met him years later – after he left your place he got a job in stockwell plastics and was there the day it blew up .

    Watching Everton & Spurs game. Everton player cops a sore one on the shoulder when falling over the security / steward who is lying on the ground. Not one of the stewards move an inch or a muscle to help the player.WTF.

     

    Good goal by Spurs and well deserved.

    Met him myself with the kids not long after the Stockwell incident, tried to catch his eye an say hello, but he averted eye contact…just like most in the past few years.

     

     

    I’m hoping we will keep it that way!

     

     

    I got at the corner at 1.40 and couldn’t get back down…anyways I’m sure the bloke will have passed them on to kids.

     

     

    Met Stevie Chalmers, it was his 80th, a lovely man and a legend…young Kieran Tierney looks about fourteen, tooooo Young to be getting champagne :)

    There seem to be a few problems with our club right now. Not sure changing manager would sort them. That’s a worry. I think what’s wrong goes far deeper than the tactics being decided before the game.

     

     

    Maybe the team could flourish with a different manager, but, it also has to be said, maybe the manager could do really well with a different team at a different club.

     

     

    I don’t think the solution is as simple as RD out, or PL out, or both out. But we always tend to want to simplfy things, and look for a quick and easy way to solve our problems.

     

     

    In my opinion, the current, or future club playing at Ibrox, (or somewhere else next season…), would struggle to stay in the top 6, never mind compete with us to win the league. So I am not nervous because of them. But I do want us to do better, (far far better than we did this season), in european competion. There were some good excuses, but there were also some poor displays.

     

     

    The more we lose in points towards seeding, the harder it is to get them back. It will only keep getting harder to get into the Champions League, and we will always only be in pot 4, if we do make it. That is what concerns me most, and that is what we really need to try and do something about, or playing after christmas is going to look like a dream!

    Naismith is well thought of in Liverpool.His charity work , especially for the homeless is to be commended.

     

    No slouch on the park either,where his workrate & energy are valuable. Norwich will benefit if he signs.

     

    When he played for the forces of darkness my opinion of him was somewhat different ;-))
