Tonight Aberdeen play the second of a run of three consecutive away games. After overcoming St Johnstone 3-4 in Perth a week ago they are on the road to face Inverness. The Highlanders have not lost in a month, and haven’t lost at home since the visit of Celtic in November, so John Hughes men will provide a stern test for Aberdeen.
Aberdeen are back on the road to Firhill on Friday night. Their season has been free of fixture congestion. This is a rare week with two games, and an even rarer one with two away games. It could be a pivotal period in the campaign.
Celtic won comfortably in the end against Ross County but confidence seemed at a low ebb until Leigh Griffiths opened the scoring. Sentiment may have swung in our favour before we take to the field at home to Inverness on Saturday.

Unfortunately they’re looking good on it too
They say there’s a first time for everything…this must be the first time I’ve deliberately tuned in to a Caley/Aberdeen game…and baws, the sheep have scored
Jim mMcGuiness is with the development squad tonight along with Tommy McIntyre & Broonie
I see one of our Sunday newspapers over here tipping Adam Rooney for a place in Martin O’Neill’s squad for the Euro finals and another Dubliner Johnny Hayes also big player for Aberdeen. This journo states that if Anthony Stokes was scoring as many as Rooney he would be on the plane for France.
Three up.

Although lm at pitchside and it’s more obvious there is incredible pace and intensity about Celtic’s attacking.
Someone posted the other week that Roberts was unplayable at times when he made is debut, would really like to see him in the first team

Johnny Hayes has had a great season at Aberdeen- the star of their team- shame to see him injured but we will beat them with or without Hayes.
