There’s a charity dinner to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Brother Walfrid, in the East Chamber, Dundee, on Friday 17 April. Proceeds from the night will go towards helping three-year-old Oliver Bosch, who was born without auditory nerves.

No idea while I’m still up as I’m catching the bus at 6am to go to paradise to watch my beloved Celtic show the sheepshaggers who’s boss.
Had a great night tonight watching a youngish indie band ( absolutely not my normal bag) called Vladimir at the closing night of a pub, the Caberfiedh in New Elgin (known as the free state). Musically it was sonic landscape stuff a la Johnny Greenwood and a tight punky rythmm section. Good frontman too. It was also free which is nice but accordingly, it was hard to complain when they only played for about 40 mins.
Hopefully catch up with some familiar faces at CQN corner in the morning.
