  1. So the Sheep are the new huns-

Getting 2 or more penalties and their manager running the line for the referee in a match

    Hunbelieveable

    You make a great point

There are many who could do a great job for Celtic but of all the contenders how many will put up with PL ??

Went back and read your 3:14 post. Great minds think alike! Although I hear fools seldom differ!😊

  4. I wonder how the AGM will be stage managed this year, difficult for the Chairman in the grey suit I would have thought.

  5. It’s difficult to add anything about Shane Duffy today that’s not already been said however have a look at his role in their first goal, he gave Ntcham a pass that out him under pressure, I get Ntcham should have done better defending from there but the pass started the whole sequence.

Duffy’s play just before his howler for their second was also particularly bad, he had an easy header that should have found a Celtic player but didn’t and then yet another poor diagonal pass that was easily intercepted. Within a minute he gifts them a call.

My point, nothing new, just all aspects of his game are all over the place.

Look out for Res 12 at the AGM. It is not dead yet! Some awkward questions for the sharp suited man.

  8. we demand a centre half was the cry all August ………….

better still a no nonsense one, in a throwback to old days of yore,

a Mick McCarthy play a like,

no not this wan, another wan

be careful with what you wish for, we have let better players go than we brought in

PC Listig, Sinky, Gordon, Jozo, Erik in particular.

Eddie Howe is the new Pp, ffs. gies peace.

That point will be invaluable at the end of the season

Is it an agenda item I havent had my AGM info yet?

They have plants in the audience remember to deflect from issues.

  10. GALLAGHER-Eddie has scored how many from a free kick 🤔

Wasn’t talking about taking free kicks in front of goal.More about a free kick that actually finds a team mate before it goes way out of play 🤷‍♀️

  11. 67 European- have you noticed many black folk at Trump’s rallies? A cross between a meeting of the Klan and the Eastern Star.

  12. SAINT STIVS

You think that point will mean the difference between second and third? Genuine question.

I have more faith in NFL being able to turn this around than I do in the Celtic Board appointing anyone better

    ——————-

That is the crux of the matter. A definate no to the usual suspects. WGS or JK.

  14. DESSYBHOY

Neither have I, but shareholders in sufficient numbers have written Celtic to get it back on the agenda. Administratively, the last AGM did not kill it outright.

  15. The way we make management appointments we are more likely to get Bobby Ewing announced in the morning !!

    SS-for confirming 2nd place 😉

    Gloaters?

Get your head out the sand pal.

  18. Ah my apologies, i agree re deliveries only Griff is effective. But to be fair to me, if we’re talking dead ball strikes at goal Ed n Griff are two of the best imho.

The way we make management appointments we are more likely to get Bobby Ewing announced in the morning !!

    ———

We brought in Ronny and Rodgers, both are left field (maybe), not really your run of the mill appointments (like Lenny was).

It’s possible the board have another name out their that won’t be your usual, they used to play or support us so that’s them got the job.

  20. SAINT STIVS

Yes, you did say it! I admire your optimism, but would love to know on what you base it on. I assume you are not relying on the Hun imploding after New Year?

  21. SS-love your optimism buddy but the picture so far tells a different outcome.

But I flipping hope you know best😉

  22. James Forrest the blogger has in his recent blogs done everything he can not tell us he blames Lennon for this .You failed 🤷‍♀️

Grow a pair and tell us what you really think ya woos 🤷‍♀️

  23. In the last 2 games the opposition has had 8 shots on target.

    And scored SIX goals.

    That’s diabolical.

  24. The appointment of Rodgers was a real coup and the way Lennon was brought straight in to replace him was swift and decisive.

The full-time appointment of Lennon in the shower wasn’t great by any means but the board’s record with managerial appointments hasn’t been bad to be fair.

Thing is, we can’t take the risk with “left-field” right now. I’ll either be a “safe pair of hands” until the end of the season or the board stick with Lennon until Rangers’ lead seems insurmountable.

What does a Covid compliant AGM look like?

    ——

Probably the same as pre Covid but with masks

    ——-

Rodgers wasn’t a risk and that was left-field.

My point is that the next manager doesn’t have to be the usual ex Celt/SPL appointment.

Loads of coaches out there that are better than Lenny.

  27. Fairhillbhoy- No wonder that was dross again.

Christie keeps on taking corners and free kicks…ffs can someone on the park please tell him politely to feck off.

This was a must win game, we did not win, therefor changes need to happen.

God I have the utmost respect for Lenny as a human being for what he has went through but by god sitting in the Dugout talking to yourself is not right.

If you have something to say to players get on the touchline and coach/encourage etc.

    D :)
