June 2021 – Lawwell leaves the club & shortly after Ange is appointed & transfers seem to run smoothly, football is free flowing & harmony between club & fans

January 2023 – Lawwell returns & all above goes to shit

    Coincidence?

“The real story according to zionist controlled mainstream media.

I note that the Guardian or BBC didn`t report on these murders or you would have included their bent as well…”

    ———————————

Predictable alt-right response- I don’t like the facts- it’s fake news. Whereas your wee guy with his ”well researched” approach of:-

    I’ve heard ….

And you’ll not hear this anywhere else….

Some Africian Politicians died and some were killed….

At least one of them was anti- vaxx

So, they must have been killed or died suspiciously because they were all anti-vaxx

    FACT

    QED

    Just Sayin’

    No Smoke without Fire

    Don’t believe their lies!

Just listen to your fellow Insels who live in their parents house, selling quack potions to cure Covid that they’ve done their own research on (OK- the cat died but…)

P.S. It would have taken you 2 seconds to actually check if the BBC or Guardian in their World News or African News coverage had touched the story, but you didn’t check did you? You just thought- that’s a killer point- no need to prove it- the lies are halfway round the world before anyone bothers to check it. And when they do, we just blame it on brown folk, or Zionists or Paedophiles or Aliens (especially those that butt probed them).

  3. TIMBHOY163 , there will be videos on YouTube for setting up your TV. What I will say is when viewing in store, they always play animated films etc. This makes the TV look better than they are.

  4. Liverpool been given a football lesson by arsenal only for the arsenal defender trying to be to clever and Liverpool get an equaliser at the end of the first half

    Coincidence?’

    ————————–

Probably- who really knows. The guys concerned say there in o such tension and disagreement but most of us hear them saying that and just call them liars because we are sure it’s not true and our version makes more sense.

If you leave out the facts that we won 2 LC ties and the trophy after Jan 23, 4 SC ties and a trophy after Jan 23, and we also won the league. Some shit experience that was for us, eh?

Now I know you cited other factors- perceived transfer difficulties, perceived manager/board dissension, quality of football experience etc; but, even if we did have all of this, we still won everything we entered.

But we have dropped this season’s LC, and if you believe we’r =e definite no-hopers for the league and it’s Rangers turn for the Scottish Cup- future failures- then your “coincidence” will have some weight.

But if we lose all this year’s titles and trophies, then the “turning to shit point” must be after last May, when we won the League and Scottish Cup.

Shouldn’t you be blaming Brendan Rodgers then?

P.S. For the absence of doubt, I don’t blame Brendan and I don’t approve of Peter Lawwell’s return, but I still don’t follow reasoning such as you used to reach a coincidence proof.

  6. Strange equaliser for Liverpool, an own goal put in by the Arsenal defender’s hand. There’s a rule that you can’t score a goal from any kind of handball, even when it’s unintentional and the hand is close to the body. Does it not apply to own goals?

    Love your posts

cheers, I only comment on what I see but a lot of others don’t agree with my posts/views, and revert to name calling but I can take it , everyone has an opinion but some cant see the woods for the trees.

Haaland and Kane struggling if they got the same service ? Try taking a pen off Kane and see how far you get. Kyogo steps back when we’re awarded pens, that’s not what a Celtic striker should do. He should be demanding the spot kicks.

*James Edward McGrory took 3 penalties in his career and missed them all, mibbees he should hve heided them

Not agreeing or disagreeing on the matter but respectfully curious on your reasons.

Run along and stick to what you write.

  11. Curious also as to why you are so hung up on folks (especially young folks) who would not allow their bodies to be contaminated with an untested vaccine when even the bbc stats expert is now saying we were past peak before we even locked down.

Never mind that you seem to be happy with coercing young people who clearly did not need it and presented no threat to anyone to have it.

The incremental sudden deaths since are not painting a pretty picture. Nor is the total amateur hour and self interested sham of a leadership group involved both sides of the border. The self publicising Airdrie dentist Leitch being the epitomy of this. Eliminate the evidence but ‘we are winging it’ as he gleefully admits to Humza.

If we do lose the league, and we may not however it’s there for the taking – what will DD’s response be – the last loss precipitated the shuffling of the Lawwell’s.

I’m very grateful for the twenty years of success we’ve had, I’m grateful for our financial surety in the wake of the greatest cheating programme ever conducted by a sporting organisation but sweet holy hell the model needs looking at and it scares me me the model is very profitable.

    ————————————

Your points are measured and well-made.

Yes the model has been profitable and successful, however I don’t disagree with you that if it it is the model that has caused our slump in the last couple of months, then of of course it needs looking at.

I don’t buy into the Lawwell/DD hatred that some constantly carp on about – if they are to blame for the troughs, then they must also be responsible for the peaks, which are far greater in number.

There has been a bit of a perfect storm gathering strength during this current season., fromabout October onwards. We have had the Green Brigade shennanigans which has disrupted and unsettled the support. Our injury list for key players has been a major factor. The Asian Cup with players gone at a vital time is another. Had we been riding high, our two new January signings would have been celebrated. We have a very bloated squad and I can understand someone away from the football side of the club asking why we need to sign more and more. Added to all of this is the fact that the January window has turned out to be a bit of a freak event worldwide, with minimal trading and very little movement.

Notwithstanding all of the above, I am inclined to believe that there is something afoot that is preoccupying the whole club at this moment in time. I also wonder if Brendan was asked to return for more than football reasons. The manager’s demeanour puzzles me – he seems so and detatched at times, even downbeat. Does he know something we don’t?

My fear is that we will get all our players and ‘mojo’ back, but that it will come too late and the season will be lost at that point.

  13. One of deciding factors on the outcome of this seasons title will be the support the players receive on match days. Hopefully our assimilated tims arent as vociferous in their jeering as the manky huns are with their lot when things don’t go to plan

  14. why have both the Aberdeen and Hearts centre forwards that many on here said were no way good enough to play in the hoops always score against our rock solid defence , strange that.

And aside from that, Warnock would comfortably be in the top 3 coaches in the SPFL. Has a good track record

The reality, as we all know, is that we are stuck with what we have. I don’t know any Celtic fan who thinks that this squad is good enough. That is why mini Lawwell, and his masters are getting it tight. Unless Rodgers can make a silk purse, we are fecked.

*fair enough but I think most of this anger is being fueled by the smsm although I do recall the “strachan strachan gtf” chants, hmmm so how did that season end.

As far as the trio you have mentioned that should get the sugar lump, who hired them, there is only one man who calls the shots at Parkheid and that’s DD who has admitted that no one, aye no one, is brought on board without his say so.

Peter Lawwell first arrived when the former deputy governor of the Bank of England among other honorable positions as well as an honorary professor of economics at his alma mater Glasgow University, enlightened us with the knowledge that our well financed run tae Seville meant we had tae get used tae life in the fast lane,

that’s when the Blessed MON took of but before he did recommended to DD WGS.

Non-executive Tom Allison, Chief Executive of Clydeport Plc recommended PL who he had worked with there as a replacement for Ian McLeod as Chief Executive that job title was changed to Executive Director, Head of Operations as many of the previous Chief Executives had performed poorly in that role.

Again he only got that position after DD accepted him, no one else, the same DD that told PL to offer WGS an extension to his contract on Tommy Burns Thursday while the removal truck was in the driveway with the rest of his possessions in his home down south, the same DD who allegedly sent PL intae the dressin room and offered NFL the contract after we had won the treble, again and the same DD that much tae the consternation of the fans brought the formerly named fraudgers back making him our highest paid manager EVER with a multi year contract.

So, if any ire should be aimed at anyone its him however, we should be careful what we wish for as the same absentee landlord has also bankrolled all our major signings, I believe that Robbie Keane had a personal services contract with him, as well as all our share issues.

Personally, I would rather have him at our helm than the likes of the Ayrshire tangerine heid or the transplanted South African clarence both who loved spending other people’s money., oh and you will NEVER hear huns critcising the former who killed their club off as to do so they would have to admit that their dishonest niar was tainted,

Oh and if DD decides to give his shate4s to his son who are we to question that, wtf I have already told my NFL and NHL loving grandson he can have my meagre offerings, actually might NOT be a bad idea as he has a degree in economics.

I am because of knowhow and experience with ongoing courtcases,it was a stick on his appointment wouldnt be temporary when the ex Ceo left, eventually goin to his sport in rugger

I am against as it was the right time for him personally and for the club(new broom and all that) to move on.We started well with Ange appointment, league and league cup on the park, but we should have restructured the company by divvying up and empowering proper expertise from outside that was controlled by our ex ceo,we chop and change players why not make our executive more open and accessible to supporters(more dynamic-time period limits).they all have been there for a while. It may lead to new thinking coming in and influencing our club in the short, med and long term.

Its a pressured job in any company,in Celtics case it has all us pulling and moaning.

Rock solid defence? You’re deluded. Apparently Scales is the best centre half we have available for selection and he’s mince meat under pressure.

  21. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Celtic fans being miscast as entitled by our enemies, some of whom are very close to our Board members. They merely understand the significance of this specific league in respect of the balance of power between us and the new huns. It’s a £120M swing in the wrong direction if we lose it. And you know they will spend it on the park. – as they do when they have no money to begin with. Whereas our musty old conservative farts sit on it. When they’re not paying themselves ‘market rate’ bonus increases.

So when we have a financial buffer over our only potential rivals of many tens of millions of pounds, with a guaranteed return of many millions of more pounds – plus the risk hedge of a sure thing £20M+ sale price for O’Riley – do we take the enormous gamble of downgrading the team?

I’m genuinely baffled by the thought process that determines this course if action is in the pecuniary let alone sporting interests of the club.

I’m left to conclude there is either a desire to maintain Sevco’s competitiveness or a pathological and collectively neurotic attachment to,parsimony.

And please don’t gaslight me with the well run club trope. The only reason Celtic makes any money is because of the emotional attachment of the fans. These guys would survive a minute in a ‘normal’ marketplace where we could take our business elsewhere.’

agree , and none of them are good enough.

  26. There are no guarantees in football. Gambling with nonsensical January transfer window fees isn’t the answer. You’ll see Celtic’s middle term transfer strategy unfold in the summer to good effect. As welcome as it gets, next seasons Champions League money isn’t the be all or end all. There’s everything to play for, suck up the challenge and stop whining like a muzzled XL Billyboy.
