Hope yer recovery is going well

    H.H.

  2. Does Bauer get pushed straight into the devil’s cauldron on Sunday?

If Elhamed is fit, will he be match fit?

Is Ralston up to the job? How can he possible be match fit?

Would Nir or Jullien be alternatives?

  3. Gene, we have an option to buy, £3m, for a players registration, for which we offered £4m a couple of years ago. Good business for me.

So after tonight has Bayo overtaken Griff in the pecking order ? Surprised if that’s the case – Griff has been solid

    ———

Griffiths scored a couple of free kicks and a long range strike against St Johnstone. I am not going to write him off but he is miles off the pace of what we require. Let’s see how the season develops.

  5. Philbhoy

I see someone mentioned you’ve been ill.

I hope you are well enough to stand the strain of Saturday, pre game.

Once it start Sunday and Eddie secures his hat trick you will be fine.

Better than a trip to Lourdes

  6. THELURKINTIM

At hospital on Wednesday and all looking good thanks, but brace and crutches for another 4 weeks.

I will not be sad to see the back of them!

    Hope you are good!

  7. GG

How’s your hand? Are your fingers all there?

Seen you had a wee problem at counting at half time 😊

Legia are the very definition of Bang Average, but the Huns having enormous problems breaking them down and getting in behind. I think the Huns really lack invention and cleverness in the last-third and think they are badly missing the boy Kent who seemed a bit of a door opener with some end-product in the final third. The huns have scored a lot and relied heavily on set-pieces this season so we need to get our house in order in terms of defending crosses in particular. Do that, and I think we can deliver them and early massive mental blow.

  9. Philbhoy

And you haven’t won 4 Scottish league titles as a manager so I would call it even

    Adi Dassler

    ?

  10. Best Scandinavian 4-1 away win since Aarhus in 83.

No googling but who was our left back that night?

  11. That Tifo could be Nicholas Parsons…………………..

    Why The Face?

    :0

  12. All in all delighted with tonight.

A win away Europe is always to be cherished.

Sunday is however different, its not that Sevco are that good but i fear us being bullied.

That defence is never keeping a clean sheet, we’ll need at least 2.

They’ll, foul, harass, get the ball on the box, fight dig, all the things I worry about us coping with.

Hope NFL has something up his sleeve tactically.

  13. BLANTYRETIM. if your lurking? I’ll be in the Blane Valley around 3.00pm tomorrow, just to celebrate a good victory tonight.

  14. Owen – good to see ye Bhoy.

If you ever get down this way, get in touch.

    HH.

  15. DOC

Looks like you’re right….just looking at some more pictures of it and the Daily Record report about it. They must be seething :)

  16. Sid

Excitement although I could say they needed 5 in total.

Oh and the arthritis in my fingers has improved since I went near vegan.

  17. Espirito

Aye they havent really addressed that same problem from last season – breaking down teams who sit in. They dont have an Edouard, Forrest, Christie, Rogic for example

Saying that im so worried about our own defence so far this season it doesnt look like it will take much to score past us…. especially with Ajer now missing for Sunday ☹

  18. I think we will take care of them on Sunday, although they might score a consolation 😉

  19. Hi bankie

All good here in East Cork. Mrs Owen loves West Cork must take spin some weekend and conspire to get her to drive back 😁

  20. On the back of an excellent spirit lifting away win in Europe, we should relish the challenge on Sunday.

No point in being negative ahead of the game.

Should we perform poorly at the Crumble Dome, there will be plenty of time to reflect.

Personally, I am confident we can outscore them.

  21. I’m usually mr optimist and there was much to enjoy this evening….. but our defending at times is rudimentary!

Enjoying Mikey Johnston and Ryan Christie’s energy in tracking back and getting forward. Surprisingly they both made big contributions to limiting the AIK score. A settled back 4 is a luxury we haven’t had for what seems an absolute age.

I can’t complain too much about a 4-1 away win against Swedish champions but there is something to learn from that game I’m sure.
