I get really emotional about abortion and am constantly reminding deacons and pastors about our Church’s reticence about preaching about it.
A few years ago a young priest in our parish gave a strong sermon on the sanctity of life in the womb. At the end I stood up and applauded much to his surprise and happily was joined by most of the congregation.

My wife and latterly , her sisters came to U.K. from Mexico mid `70s as “Spanish assistants ” in local schools.
They stayed in High Coats flats . I used to visit. As you do.
