The comment in today’s Telegraph by Joe Ledley confirming that, in the event they win the league early, Celtic have considered giving players some extended rest period before the end of the season has a lot of focus about it.
We have Champions League qualifiers starting on 2 July and hopefully extending six games later in the last week in August, all plans must be made with the objective of being as strong as possible for these games.
Last season APOEL Nicosia got through the Champions League group stages, beat Lyon in the last 16, before being stopped in the quarters by Real Madrid, but their European adventure this season was ended in August by Neftchi Baku. Rangers run to the Uefa Cup final in 2008 was quickly followed by an August elimination at the hands of the mighty Kaunas. We don’t need reminded of what happened in 2005, when the club formerly known as Artmedia Bratislava, and no longer playing top flight football, caught Celtic cold. Five times.
I’m keen to hear from Celtic on policing and stewarding at games. The club have to be attentive to all season ticket holders who feel they have been poorly treated, by police or stewards. Processes to deal with such matters must be open to supporter groups to audit, perhaps even to administer. Delegate thus, and you resolve many concerns.
The Lions Roar event at the Kerrydale Suite on 1 March, with a film of the 1967 European Cup final, will have commentary from Bertie Auld, Stevie Chalmers, Bobby Lennon, Jim Craig, John Fallon, Charlie Gallacher, Billy McNeill, John Clark and John Hughes. Mike Jackson will also be there with Billy. Tickets went on sale six days ago and there are only a few left…..

‘There’ll always be an audience amongst some Celtic fans for VicLit (victim literature).’
So the huns keep telling us.
I believe they sing a song about it.
Ernie Lynch thanks for letting us know you are part of that volunteer audience.
I’m not. I’m also not offended.

Fascinating stuff this.
In just one thread we now have TWO ex Strathclyde Stasi protesting their position of being “fair and reasonable” and not being like the rest of them.
Our first ex Stasi refers to us as TIMS and supports no team in particular…….
Our second ex Stasi supported Partick Thistle as a child……….
You two must know each other surely?
Do you both live in Bermuda?
I think we should be told.

Media hacks ambushed John Elkann [ The President of Fiat ] and talked to him about football. They like exposing his complete ignorance re football. Let’s have a laugh at this rich twit -stylee.
Yesterday they got him opining that Juve could win Serie A and the Champion’s League. . Cue hack telling him that if Juve progress to the next round they are very unlikely to face a team as defensively generous as Celtic. Cue another hack asking Elkann why the bookies have Juve 5th favorites for the Champions League

Stasi? Gestapo?
Yes bhoys.? Ranking yourselves alongside their targets? Ubervictims are you now?
I have noticed the post frequency slowing dramatically around now. I can only assume it is podium chase hour. Right? All sitting there with your message typed, copy, and refreshing frantically to get ready and hit paste? I’m right, I know I am. Paul 67, no new threads yet. I’m not ready.

Hahaha….. Stopped reading both of their posts, and thought…..mmmmmmmm
I notice my previous post was number 777.
This of course is the ULTIMATE in Celtic numerology & knocks a silly podium post into a cocked hat.

who knows but all is not well in the big hoose. It’s Murray or me says Charlie. Question is, who is leaking their dirty laundry to Keech? Jim Traynor? Walter? Charlie himself? Curious state of affairs.

1967 would be the ultimate post. No question. It’s obvious. As obvious as getting the ultimate on FF. 666

CHARLES GREEN is set to step up his war with the SFA by offering Wales training facilities ahead of next month’s World Cup qualifier against Scotland.
The Rangers chief executive revealed he is planning to make Murray Park available to Chris
Coleman’s side prior to the Hampden clash on March 22.
……………
Shock horror for Joe Ledley and Adam Mathews. Third Division facilities.

Just been reading back a few pages. That Kojo! He’s some man.
More power to your elbow Kojo, I don’t agree with everything you write, but you have a right to write.
And no, I don’t think he and KevJungle are one and the same, ffs .
How does it work? Does some mason or other go round all the new polis officers and try to recruit them for the masons or do they wait to be approached? Or are they already in the masons when they become polis? If they make a pitch to convince younger officers to join up, what do they say to convince them, that it will help them get on in the force?
I am intrigued by all this. I just read an Umberto Eco book that explores a bit of the background, The Prague Cemetery.
