Amazed that posters are still surprised tbat we do not have favourable coverage in MSM.

Great team effort last night, though it was when we started to send the ball directly up to Odsonne that we saw a bit of control in the game, which, of course strangely, is totally anti-Ange-ball. Did Ange instigate that tactic or did the team? Up till then, it had been really back to the walls stuff, por cierto.

Karrekt and Por Favor Por Cierto – I just Google mapped it and the memories flooded back, even if I mistook Allison St for Calder St. Over 30yrs ago now mind.
Sutton called it at half time that Rogic should go off for Edouard. Hartson said not very much.
Big John seems to be intimidated by Chris who clearly likes a wind up
enjoyed the two of them though
as Ernie said earlier, 2 one in a million screw ups don’t happen and we win 1-0. On the flip side, they missed a sitter first game so it should have panned out 3-1 to us not 3-2. only one goal out and we deserved it
…………………
My wife bought tickets for her Dad and I to attend ‘A Night with Sutton and Hartson’ at The Grosvenor in Glasgow. It was one of the funniest nights ever both guys told very funny stories and the banter between both of them and them and the audience was terrific. Sutton is an extremely self-confident guy and some of his quips and timing could have come from a professional comedian. Big Bad John was not bad either. They had the audience eating out of their hand. The evening was chaired by John Paul Dykes.
I don’t think BBJ is intimidated by Chris.

Zagreb are probably the weakest Pot 1 team on the basis of the games this past 2 weeks anyway.
Hope it’s not serious and he is able to play Sunday.

One comment made on Premier Sports last night was spot on, might have been Michael Stewart, at no point from the kick off at Celtic Park last week to the final whistle in Holland was there a lull in the game. No time to relax, take stock, or take a breather over two matches. Put paid Paul (try saying that wi’oot yer wallies) to your theories about early season fitness. And proof positive (@Graham Green) as to what happens when you get put on the back foot with a midfield three as in the first half. Tant Pis! Looking forward to the draw later on today, and a group where we can do better than two other teams in it. There’s one out there.

We now have a 75% chance of post Xmas European football this season.
Tougher Europa groups but the 3rd place in each Europa group drops into conference for play off game vs a second place conference team.
Winners of Europa group get a bye into last 16 Europa
2nd in Europa groups play a champions league 3rd place team.
An Dún on
Every year I say we’re due a kind draw and we end up getting a stinker so I’m saying little this time.
But if we can get a manageable pot 4 team then we’ll be looking good to have Europe after Christmas with the third place side parachuting into the conference.

TalkSports broadcasting direct from Ayebrokes this morning from 10pm, with Jim (Red, Blue and) White, Simon Jordan and our very own John Hartson. Should be worth a listen. Last time Jim did the show from there was during the Euros, when he showed a distinctly unimpressed Chris Oweluma, a Coatbridge Bhoy round the trophy room. Big Chris made it clear that his heart was in Paradise.
Given that no Celtic supporter will be allowed in, only one question needing answered;
‘Should everyone in the crowd be wearing a mask?’

Come on Celtic, loosen the purse strings a little bit more and give everyone a chance
Another couple of signings would make a big difference.
Happy Birthday Ange. No recent manager would have got past AZ. IMHO

Today is the 21st anniversary of a truly defining moment in Celtics history.
In the 21 years prior to this game we had won only 6 league titles and only once been in Europe post Xmas.
In the 21 years since we have won 15 and our nearest rivals just 6. We have been in Europe post Xmas 8 times ( granted it is easier now ).
The 6-2 was a real defining moment when we realised as a club and as a team we really could !
We really did overcome a hugely stacked deck.
Yip we were over stretching ourselves but the achievement magnitude of that day should never be understated.
Fess19 on
Well that was quite a night/morning. Superb start then 2 mistakes to put us under pressure but defence came good in the end.
AZ are a good, fast team but our young defence withstood their arial bombardment even when they brought on a Central Defender (fast bugger) and stuck him up front. Well recovered boys, watch video of mistakes and learn.
Game was played at too high a tempo for big Tom but he likes playing newco so does he keep his place for Sunday, I’ll let Ange decide. He seems to know what he wants! He wants players to supplement what we have, not replace them.
Was dreading this season after last, BUT roll on Sunday and have the Orcs back turning on their own. HH

“What position does the lhad Scales play?”
From what I gather, he is a back four utility player with a left foot, por cierto.
I wonder if there may be a player signed from a club who have just gone out of European football last night, off the radar, so to speak, por cierto
Under the radar even!! :)) por cierto
Seville , Zagreb and Prague would be nice places to visit
Ones to avoid for me are Monaco from pot 1 West Ham from Pot 3 and Galatasaray in Pot 4.
My preference would be Braga Pot 1 ( we owe them ) Ludogorets Pot 3 ( they are not too good ) and Frrencvaros Pot 4 ( we owe them ) too.
Real Betis from Pot 3 and a Seville trip would be good too though.

Any news on Kyogo’s injury?
My prediction for Sunday.
In the first ten minutes one of their cluggers goes over the ankle of Kyogo and tries to put him out the game.
Free kick to Celtic, no booking and the commentators commends the referee for having the guts to keep his cards in his pocket early doors.
First booking, as usual, will be a Celtic defender to put them under that wee bit more pressure.
