    Without A Z scoring we actually gave them a 2 goal lead ,but credit to our players we stuck it out and made the group stages of the Europa League,A Z are a good team,but we still need to strengthen at the back,and possibly another goalkeeper.

    What a phenomenal game the demolition Derby was – got to be my favourite Glasgow Derby.

     

     

    Yet as you say it was more than that, an epiphanatic event – purging the worst of the nineties and welcoming in a new millennium, with new hope.

     

     

    Yet it was to peak with the Seville campaign and since then we’ve had hintergedanken that there was a little of paradise lost since then.

     

     

    Of course this has grown and woven and manifested itself in the disaster of last Season, the lowest I’ve ever felt as a Celtic supporter.

     

     

    Yes our nearest rivals did win no titles in the last dozen seasons and they were never short of an excuse or ten – but I think as they were dead we can give them that one.

     

     

    Sunday’s old firm encounter will not be a patch on the demolition Derby in quality and atmosphere.

     

     

    But Ange and the bhoys can lay a marker down, for paradise regained

    I will be pleasantly surprised if we even manage a draw on Sunday.

     

    We are at level 1 on the journey to the top.

     

    Lots to do ,.many floors to go up.

     

     

    I don’t believe that we have the physicality or athleticism to win at Ayebrokes on Sunday.
