Celtic will face Israelis Hapoel Beer-Sheva in the Champions League playoff round later this month, with the first leg due to take place at Celtic Park.
Hapoel, carrying a Uefa coefficient of 4, eliminated Olympiakos, coefficient: 70, in the last round – a bigger shock than Dundalk’s win over BATE. They put on two backs-to-the-wall performances, drawing the first leg in Greece 0-0 before winning the return 1-0. In the earlier round they shot the Sheriff Tiraspol from Moldova, winning 3-2 in Israel before securing another 0-0 away.
The positives: the Israeli league hasn’t started yet, so Hapoel will be no further into their season’s preparations than Celtic. It also looks like the play on grass.
In recent seasons Celtic have found new and innovative ways to bow out at this stage but we know what’s required and will be strong favourites to progress.
Bring it on.

We were so privileged to be part of that unsurpassable triumph and to be able to share it with new generations.
As our parents did with us.
KevJungle – Good to see you posting again, hoping all is well with you.

Welcome back my Tyre rebel☘☘
STARRYPLOUGH
Aye,but it’s in the EEA. Irish passport covers the bases, mind.
I hope you’ve been taking advantage of one of its many perks-free Guinness upon presentation. It’s not widely known,so keep schtuum…
For a deid team, Rangers sure get some amount of attention on here.
MACJAY 1 – ;-)
ONEMALLOY – All is well thanks for asking hope all is
well with you and yours.
Hail Hail
Great to see ambition in signing 27year old quality player. Even better that more in the pipeline.
It raises a question for me that I genuinely welcome views on.
If Lawwell is signing because the Hunco tribute are in SPFL.. What does this say?
Has the CEO any right to be interested in who we face on the park? Should his scope be influenced by football matters?
My own view is that this has been the case but that it is wrong. CEO remit is to manage and grow business.
That’s why I’m so pleased to see BR in post.
Warblesburton seems to be getting his excuses in early. So maybe he’s not very confident.
Come on big Massimo and the Accies.
NEGANON 2 – Dizny need any help but…
most of the Celtic paying supporters of today will
as the weeks go by, sadly.
Ye see, the huns will only die when, a Celtic Football
Club, led by a boardroom full of rebellious Celtic fans
who don’t kowtow to the hun establishment will, hammer
the stake through the evil-hun-heart showing no mercy.
But, that day is a long way off.
Celtic Football Club of today is run by a kowtowing Celtic
PLC-Hierarchy who will take the fans season ticket money
on one hand, then hand your souls to the hun-establishment
with the other and, they’ll do it without batting an eye lid.
The PLC-Hierarchy’s products in the dug-out and, on the pitch
of the last 4 years, emptied the stadium, Season tickets wurny selling
then, the Res-12 issue and, the Celtic complicit silence, sooked the life
out of Timdom but, the PLC-Hierarchy had a plan to offset the rebel-less
supporter base – a squirrel called Brendan Rodgers.
It has worked a treat – in terms of season ticket sales.
But, when not, if, the mibbery begins…the Celtic support will be on they’re
own at the back of the bus, sadly.
Take care Tims.
….off-oot….
Just watching
” He used to be a Tim , but he`s all sh*** now

BOBBY MURDOCH’S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS
I don’t know much about Switzerland connections to be honest mate, I know they have their deals set up with the EU to benefit them, which is the Swiss way in all things. I can’t stand it here mate to be honest but it’s relatively easy to live here and my womenfolk are safe night and day.
I will never return to the UK that’s one thing I’m pretty sure about and after the Brexit nonsense and the rise of UKIP’ers even on here has sealed that deal.
Switzerland may be the dullest place on earth populated by a soulless mass but I’m left alone to my own devices here and it’s a better standard of living that say being unemployed in Scotland:))
Unless you work in banking of the Pharma industry I wouldn’t see any appeal in moving here though.
Next stop Japan for this Tim:))
Mon the Accies…
My hometown Hoops:))
Kevin.
I used to look down on you from the gantry.
Good to see you back.
Hun love fest on sky. Let the cheating commence.
BLANTYRETIM – Thank you God Bless.
BMCUW – Thank you fella, God Bless U2.
You’ll Never Walk Alone…in the Jungle.
CLUNKS
Prayers said for your Mum and you.
Mum’s are so precious.
Take care.
I’d say the bookies and Sky will be delighted with all the interest in Sevco’s match and the hype of SKY/MSM on here :)
Some people have bought into it, fair play.
We all know in advance what’s likely to happen with teams lying down, mibbery, home cup draws and the like.
It’s all about a bigger slice of our wallets.
Let’s hope BR can give us something to cheer about! By the clubs’ silence and buying into this farce we’ve given the nod to cheating and lost the right to moan about what’s coming our way.
Offski. Enjoy the match (WWE).

NEGANON2
Does the 2 indicate there is more than one of you?
Nurse…….nurse!
Philbhoy
How’s Creete?
Kevj…..hope all’s well pal.
Mon Hamilton intae that mob!!!!
Why get upset over the “Going for 55” message. Surely, 55 points is a reasonable target for a team coming up to the top league. Let’s see if they can achieve that and what position they secure by doing so.
BT
Home this morning!
Had a great time.
How did your holiday go?
Philbhoy that was dead clever that was. Well done.
Phil hoy
Very good although Hotel Mediterraneo where we stayed wasn’t the best
Found cracking we Taverna on the beach
CQN’s Saturday morning Punch and Judy show in full flow again.
Tony why don’t you ignore him, huh ?
Neganon2 has lost all credibility * on the blog and lowering yourself to his invective isn’t needed. His own words reveal all we need to know about his outlook on the Celtic.
* just my opinion based on observation and CQN’s reaction to his caterwauling.

Thank you fella, hope your well also.
Ye see, I was given a 5 year clean slate the last time.
So, if it all goes to plan….

A new rebellious board.
Huns and SFA fun oot and, emptied.
Celtic FC European trophy winners again.
HAMILTONTIM on the new rebellious board
shaping Celtic FC into a footballing unit that
World Football will doff it’s cap to….just like it
did in 1967.
Too much to ask ?
Never ;-)
