I’m sure many of you will remember the home game against Dundee in April 2001. We needed a win to be able to secure the title the following week, at home, against St Mirren. After the game Martin O’Neill sounded irritated at the anxiety in the crowd, oblivious to the fact that the loss of a late goal would have denied many of us the opportunity to be there when the title was won.
If you’ve been there for the highs (Aberdeen) and lows (Kilmarnock) of the league season you’ve earned a ticket to the party. Let’s hope the SPL deliver a home game next, as reported.
Apologies for the extended downtime yesterday. Plans are afoot for five new servers to load-balance CQN (which sounds a lot right now but we’ve had similar thoughts before).
Let the record show that the death of Margaret Thatcher brought CQN down longer than when Rangers did the decent thing. Was hearing the news a ‘JFK moment’? I was in the wee room at the time, a treat for all the senses, so I’m not sure how my memory will handle the situation…. mostly audio.

The offside had nothing to do with that phase of the goal. When the ball was played in from the free kick leading up to that end play, 4 Dortmund players, including the one who headed it, were offside.
Been busy tonight, but, after watching Scotland Tonight, when tf is somebody call this abolition of a “football club” (no offence intended.) to task. They have conned so many people out of £100000s of revenue in their “oldco” being, but are still conning businesses out of even more of their funds. Who the f@@@ is going to stand up to this cancer on society?

Just watched the STV Interview with Charles Green. At the end I was thinking he is actually delusional, detached from reality.
Then Tom English and Chris Graham. When asked what this might mean for Rangers Tom concentrated on its effect on the support (a headbreaker?) but the real impact has to be what BDO make of it all (not to mention plod).
Chris Graham just mirrored what Tom decsribed and I do not mean that unkindly.
I’ll say it again, they need to drop the attachment to a toxic Ibrox and the hold it gives spivs over the club and start again ground sharing.

I agree the pundits were poor. The 2nd Malaga goal was dubious. I think, with the benefit of a TV view that Elisieu was offside but it was a much closer call than they made it out to be.
Still glad that Dortmund won. I believe Malaga are one of those zombie clubs who, to their credit, sport a slightly different name than their club that died.
