Tyler Blackett’s arrival, announced moments before halftime on Saturday, was welcome. He’ll immediately push Izzie, who has had no real competition for the left back berth since arriving at Celtic five years ago – an incredible situation.
The Ryan Christie situation surprised me. Ryan performed well against a Celtic defence in a state of flux earlier this month, as he has done previously against us, but it will certainly a curious signing (this morning Inverness Caledonian Thistle announced they have accepted a bid from Celtic). More on these two later.
As for rumours that we’re about to spend more money on a player than we have since John Hartson arrived 14 years ago……. Well, that is a change of pace. On top of this business, I’m sure there will be more comings and goings in defence, and elsewhere. Stay tuned……..

I’m new to the game and wondered if some of the experts could fill me in on the benefits of pretending you are several different posters, all agreeing with each other and saying how great they are. It it very complex, are you likely to forget which persona you have signed in as and do you need several different email addresses to organise it all in the first place?

Whitedoghunch don’t misunderstand me, I do appreciate what he has given to Celtic, I’m just curious about our leadership, hence the question about would they be ruthless enough. So I suppose I have to ask you, does that mean you would keep him through loyalty at the cost of Celtic not progressing.
I repeat again, this is just for debate, I do not want to see him out the door.

Constant change and evolution in any business is needed to avoid stagnation.
If you aren’t moving forward and changing you will end up going stagnating and then going backwards.
We need to evaluate and plan on a regular basis.
That may or may not be the personnel involved in the day to day running, but I do agree those taking a strategic view should not be in post overly long.
The Non-Execs should be changed every few years, 3-5.

The only difference is the quality of the picture.
If you have good broadband and standard quality is not to your liking you might want to consider Premium.
The higher cost is I believe down to the amount of broadband needed to pump out the extra pixels that define the sharpness of the picture.
As it happens I’ve wangle a meeting with the Celtic TV manager where I’m hoping to be able to speak with a bit more certainty on such matters so that I am better informed to pass on accurate info.
As an overseas subscriber in the main I’m able to add a perspective from both sides but if folk have any questions they would like me to put then use Celtic TV as a heading to your post and I’ll see if I can raise your points.
It would be useful too if folk indicated which country they resided in.

I’m new here. I think if one wants to be popular and heeded, then maybe having second account would help to bolster the apparent popularity of the other. However, it would become apparent quite quickly that one account was only there for that purpose. Personally, I’d avoid praising OR attacking other posters. It’s my opinion that really counts and everyone else’s is just noise that I need to navigate around when reading back my own splendid posts.
I would like to point out though that BRTH’s long post earlier is something that I could have penned myself.

The only advice I can give you is to choose a posting name which has loads of different names in it.
I am actually a small town and BRTH is a communal name with at least 23 locals using it at any one time — and occasionally it is used by a regular visitor to the twon but he only uses it on the third Thursday of the month when he comes to visit Mrs Thompson in No 46 while her man is out on the nightshift.
There is another poster on here who hides the fact that they are more than one person. The name concerned is actually used by a small convent of nuns based in Transylvania but their posts are translated into English by a one of their number who was originally from Dumbarton but who ran away from home after a disasterous night out in Akram’s night spot in the early 80’s.
Quite why the Transylvanian sisters follow the Celtic is as yet a mystery to me but it is something that I will endeavour to get to the bottom of when I have the time.
Finally, beware of the dreaded abbreviations.
I was going to call myself Collins Ugolini Nicholas and Tully but abandoned the idea pretty quickly!
