Calm it, Moussa

417

I’m now at the stage when I’m hoping people stop noticing Moussa Dembele. Last night’s two goals for France Unider-21s against their England counterparts further established the player’s reputation. He’s going to be on shopping list of every team with north of £20m to spend.

Great, if you’re struggling to buy out a valued retail partner, not so useful if you’re solvent and aspiring to build a Champions League reputation.

At a conference this week so will miss the AGM tomorrow.

So how good is the khazakstan 4th division these days?

“Regan – being targetted so they can get a new lackey on board when admin hits. He did his job well but would be crazy to help Sevco this time.

    Interesting observation…

It is normally, not my wont to read the SMSM but I’ve been a bit curious about the Strachan – Regan thang this week.

Read an article that suggested that SR wasn’t great as Yorkshire Cricket Supremo and an odd choice for SFA CEO. That was in a “News”paper… six years out of date I’d suggest.

    Then there’s Keith Jackson… Yes I did.

Now where to start… but a couple of points.

    – SR botching up the Rangers fiasco

    – Scottish Football needs life saving surgery and fundamental changes from the top down to its grassy roots.

Well botching the Rangers fiasco, who could argue with that, although how many would be in the dock for that? And what exactly does he mean by botching and fiasco…? Not allowing the Club to die in peace (as nature & Football Association rules intended) and helping to create a Frankenstienien mess of a Club… no neither do I.

Of course the “life saving surgery” is all too ominous – why does the top of Scottish Football needs this.

Scotland’s top Club are going great guns… putting in tremendous, entertaining, winning performances to packed Stadia in the League and Cup.

Getting results in the UCL against German and English opposition. Attracting quality players both young and experienced.

Seeing great advances in Academy and Development teams/players.

Fundamental changes!? What’s not to like, the greenprints there for all;)

Life saving surgery indeed… a’mean whose dying!?

    Hail Hail

Given the subject of today’s article and the puns, shouldn’t the article retitled ‘Calm it, Mousse Dembele?’

  17. In line with that well known Portadown expression “you learn something new every year” might I suggest referring to your wife’s attendance at Slimming World as “are you going to tubby club tonight” is probably not a good idea.

No, BRTH, I haven’t emailed yet. I still intend to though. I’m in the process of gathering information at present, but have had some frustrating hold-ups along the way, the Club’s shabby customer relations behaviour being just one of them.

  19. Hi Bhoys. There’s two of us heading over from Ireland for the Cup Final versus the sheep on Sunday week. Does anyone know where i’d get my hands on a couple of tickets (I’m not a season ticket holder but travel over quite a bit to see my beloved club)? CorkCelt and Almore can vouch for me – I’m a good Tim from the Emerald Isle. All help greatly appreciated. Thanks, HH

  20. On the subject of the final, from the ‘fishal website

“ADDITIONAL tickets for the League Cup final against Aberdeen at Hampden Park are available now with the club having received an additional allocation for this match.”

I wonder if it’s no longer 50-50. I know Aberdeen reduced the criteria and have the public sale starting tomorrow, however have sold out the North and South stand allocations. Not sure where Celtic’s extra allocation could be housed.
