Many members find it hard to take that we gifted sustenance to the entity out of Ibrox, gave them a chance of silverware, and a possible route to Europe.

From a purely personal point of view as a seventy six year old another precious, and there won’t be many of them left for me,opportunity to win a cup was simply thrown away.

It was simly another Black sunday.

Young Chris was a midfielder he scored a few goals in his career and certainly laid on plenty. He recently left Clyde as he had obtained a full time job outside of football and wanted to give the job his all.He also had recently bought his first home in Bannockburn and his folks were helping him decorate it. Paddy Roberts with a full pre season behind him is a thought and a half. The boy is different class, first touch, dribbling, movement, end product. Can’t deny we missed Mulgrew second half, thought there was a lack of leadership last 30 minutes, has been the case too often this season.

    Anyway, happy days!

That sounds like the worst CSC in the world…..

Are you sure Celtic fans attend, it sounds like KevJ & Neg on a weekend away

Undoubted talent that he is, if Celtic are serious about improving things, as a loan signing Roberts should have no future wit us.

In fact to make any real progress we have to ditch the whole loan thing.

I like players who move the ball quickly.

Callum McGregor moves the ball quickly.

Think we might have a player there.

BSR – that you just home? I’ve already cut the grass, power washed the slabs, tidied the kitchen. Oh and drank several beers ;-)

I can assure it is not, although I may be NegAnon3! It was just a big contrast to when we were serving up jelly and ice cream not so long ago. And I have left there blootered more times than I can remember.

In fact, for years the wife never knew I drank, until I showed up sober one night.

Most definitely am less than 5 miles from the ground but haven’t been for years, used to dog the trim to Carntyne then jump on the Phil Coles bus back to langloan, some posted questioned me last night about my daughter deciding when I go back, time is my enemy I can only justify going to Celtic Park if the wee blade wants to go, not got the choice to eff off now am sort of a grown up, anyway VP, I re bed you posting about the 2-0 New Year game when we stopped the cheating 10, I think you posted 105/1….. I had a tenner on Craig Burley and 2~0, burley scores in 77mins & Lambert in 86mins and Maeco Negri dived for a pen in 94mins…… Ā£1100 for a poxy tenner

  11. Just watched Patrick Roberts first goal there, a thing of beauty, picks the ball up on the wing just over the halfway line, drives inside baffling the Aberdeen players and lashes the ball into the net from 25 yards.))))

Aye down with that sort of thing.

I love being wrong, I did not rate MacGregor, but now in my opinion we are a far better team when Callum plays, his running is great, his pass for Lustig today was perfect

Was anyone spotted in the Main Stand today………??

Like everybody tonight – happy to shout Five in a Row !

Enjoyed the first half, once Charlie went off – we weren’t the same team.

Strange that a team packed with internationals can look lost when there is not a “captain” figure (for want of a better word) to drive them on !?!

However, for the mathematicians out there, HOW MANY in a ROW would it be, if we had not been CHEATED ???

The day of reckoning is coming for the OLD FIRM of SFA and RFC .

To be fair, the bold thing only really comes into its own when a. The blog is really busy or its one of my massively long winded replies.

If it’s any consolation my other half hates the way I dissect things on here too. She sighs and looks to the sky. Wonders why I get so involved… She hates “the Rangers” too, but thanks we should all just chill out and relax! :)

I suspect I was dropped on my head as a baby. Repeatedly. :-)

Jobo, I hope you are having a champion evening in the sunshine. It sounds a great way to round off a great day

Did anyone else notice the Aberdeen skipper, Jack, and their centre half, Taylor , squaring up and going head to head at one point in the last ten minutes of the game today? Impartial ref, Maddening, had to split them up. It was all over and done with very quickly.

Gerry , Callum Mcgregor was our longest serving player on the pitch at full time today. Maybe that’s why he was given the armband. He has improved greatly this season and did brilliantly setting up Mikael for his goal. Callum is a far better player in central midfield than outwide. I am eating humble pie about him for my dinner tonight.

  22. Callum Mcgregor is a much better player than Scott Brown, yet received ten times the shit from our “fans”

  23. Well done Celtic, keep them coming.

Just back from the christening, a lovely chapel is St cuthberts and the priest was a hoot.

So much for sitting down to watch the game with my first celebratory drink of the day…it didn’t record:((

Caught up a bit on Cqn during the game, thanks to the posters for that, oh well highlights will need to do.

  24. Thank you Celtic!

    Thank you.

    Five in a row!

I’ve seen you do it once before.

When will I see your likes again?

    Thank you Celtic.

Massive congratulations to celtic today I’ve never (properly)known a 5 in a row in my lifetime. I was also delighted to see Roddy the badgeman carrying the banner for jft96 at the start, a true Celtic legend and gentlemen. Hail hail to all tonight. Except lurking huns, obviously!

When I first saw Callum McGregor, I had no strong feelings either way. The first time I saw him this season, I remarked on here that I thought he had suddenly found real confidence . Recently and, confirmed today, I feel he has been showing signs that he could become a special player.

    A couple of other points:

    Jonny Hayes showed again what a very effective player he is;

Brownie point to Shay Logan who, in spite of being roundly booed several times, applauded the Celtic support at the end. Well done.

    Saidy Janko looked solid enough.

Bobby Madhun was Aberdeen`s most influential player.

    JJ

  28. Callum McGregor would be in my team every week . He is always available for the ball and never hides, going to be great player for us.
