Hope some of the more sour-mood posters obtained a wee bit of joy today.
Even if it was not vintage it was a league win and it was a very rare 5iar.
Milk it for all you can with every fan of a losing team you meet.
I said at every stage of this season we would win by 8 to 12 points. Looks like it could be more than I anticipated and with many more goals scored than last year.
OK there is the defensive record but tonight is not a night for looking on the down side.
Enjoy the feeling!

Appreciate your view, but is your response not just a euphemism for further brushing of Heyshel under the carpet? We have all waited since 1985 for justice.
BTW, this article I sent earlier was written by a Liverpool supporter.
I do not know what your background is but people at the top level of football in Scotland rate Scott Brown very highly. It is possible that you ( and MIT!!) are correct and they are wrong but it is unlikely.
Cheerio for sure this time ( …and Sportscene is on. Be interesting if they show the foul that led to the free kick which led to the second goal. From where I sat, it looked a good and fair tackle.).
Good to see Jim McGuiness out with the Invincible Development Squad.
Maybe we should allow him greater access to the Senior Squad

You obviously have a chip on your shoulder regards our captain.
I can’t be bothered to argue with the rhetoric regards his inability to match Messi in the control and passing categories. I hear it from too many chumps with a one-dimensional comprehension of what constitutes a functioning football team.
I cannot, almost, also be bothered to point out to you that a team of 11 Messis would win fckall.
A team requires, at its heart, dig, grit and character; e.g Roy Keane at Man U; see every successful side, ever.
What Broon lacks in refinement he has more than made up for in drive and leadership. Fully fit, his performances during the Lenny era in the Champions League were match-winning, orchestrating the high-pressing and high-tempo performances that allowed us to compete at that level; he set the intensity, the rest took his lead.
You’re flippant condemnation is way off the mark. He has been a very good captain of Celtic.

I worked in Birmingham late 70ā³s early 80ā³s followed VILLA and witnessed Liverpool fans first hand , not nice guys ! I was on the Holte End at Villa for the last time before they pulled it down and that was against Liverpool , Villa fans were of the opinion it was because of them that standing was outlawed !

What relevance does Heysel and the disaster have to anything? There was no cover up, no institutional and governmental conspiracy to blame the victims. The cause was clear and punishment was meted out.
Linking Heysel with Hillsborough is distasteful in the extreme. 96 innocent people died. Linking them in any with with Heysel is unconscionable.
I’m really struggling to understand your motive or your point.
Yes the Wee man fought many battles and his parents Leona and Stephen fought until the end a credit and an example to us all

As the guy says in the heysel blog Liverpool done wrong but it doesn’t stop the right for then to grieve and fight for the wrong that happened 4 years later.
It also doesn’t stop any fan showing solidarity with them. Those who went to football in the 80s all have a tale where it could have been them. I had a conversion with one of the girls from the HJC group and we spoke about this and also the the commemoration game.
As the article says Liverpool recognise Heysel now. Justice is in the hands of the old lady of turin. Not Merseyside.
