I don’t try telling anyone in Glasgow, I’ve made that mistake once in mixed company, its dangerous.

Their punishment is pretending that they are the same club, when they know they’re not.

Besides it’s not finished yet, and it’s un Celtic related in terms of support, on Championship day.

At least that’s the way I hope Celtic fans see it, – we as in ‘the club’ have yet to go public.

A Patrick Roberts-inspired Celtic side won 3-2 against a Bobby Madden-inspired Aberdeen side.

Our defensive display in the 2nd half was as bad as our first half attacking display was good.

Charlie making way for Efe should not have made the huge difference that it did.

What about Madden though? A downright cheat.

Said it often- we won 3-2 and the league too. Days like this the club should register a formal complaint

  6. Corkie my apologies amigo. You are right its only 54 titles that our board recognise. HH

I know I said `Cheerio` but I have just noticed that Sportscene is not on tonight. Why not? It is usually on on a Sunday isn`t it?

    Confused,Arbroath.

  8. Evening all. Another hit & run post from me…

Celtic have the best league record of any team in the English or Scottish Leagues (on a pro rata points per game basis). Only Leicester City can match Celtic’s mere three defeats, but they have drawn more games.

    (Just saying, like…)

Well done to Ronny and his Champions.

…..and while I am back, I agree with TBJ. I understand the possible repercussions but after a victory ( and a title winning one at that) would be the ideal time to register dissatisfacion with Madden`s performance. He has what it takes to be a top ref but his cheating ruins it for him.

  12. At half time I’m thinking maybe we should keep RD.

At full time I’m thinking now I know why we cannot.

If playing Effe second half was an unforced change then RD should have known better.

If it was a forced change then I want a manager with a lot better luck with injuries than RD.

Mulgrew picked up one of his weekly injuries, the burning question will be if we are daft enough to offer him a new contract.

  15. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

    Junglejim, thanks for the reply.

I sort of agree with you regarding Johnny Hayes but I think he would be one of these players who plays better with better players around him.

I have a feeling he has a good chance of getting into Ireland’s squad for the Euros as cover for Robbie Brady.

  16. The Huddle. Good stuff amigo but give me Bobby Darrin or Tommy’s version any day. HH

Callum Mcgregor is a much better player than Scott Brown, yet received ten times the shit from our “fans”

    =================================

    No he’s not. Rubbish.

Nowhere near Broon’s class. Broon’s led this squad through recent years of ignomy and underperformance and always given his all for the cause, injury permitting. His character has never been in question; never hid, always took responsibility.

Currently, McGregor’s a sand-dancer looking for favour. Done nothing in two years to warrant his contract.

You want to know what McGregor should be after years of development and countless chances to shine against inferior opposition? Look at Patrick Roberts.

  18. thetimreaper on

Just watching recording of today’s match, at half time McCann laments

Aberdeen for both goals. He doesn’t even comment on Roberts two wonderful strikes. At least Maloney did. Hurting hun.

Genuinely puzzled by the latter part of your post. I had assumed that CM’s substitution was due to muscle strain AGAIN!! Now unless this was due to being overtrained it is hardly the managers fault. Nor is it RD’s fault that Celtic players have been falling like ninepins all season.

May the club should appoint a witch doctor instead of a fitnes coach if we want a lucky manager with regard to player injuries.

RD has faults but also wrteched luck at times with player injuries.

The defence was jittery when Efe came on but it was Bitton who caused their first goal and a “fortuitous” decision by Madden which led to the second. Though I grant you that our two CBs did not cover themselves in glory when the free came in. All IMHO, of course. Maximum respect always. HH

Scott Brown is such an average footballer, up there with the worst money we have spent.

£4mill on a guy that can’t control or pass a ball, I can control and pass a ball and I’m shite.

Thankfully he’s on his last legs and we won’t have to endure this great player any longer

I worked in Birmingham late 70″s early 80″s followed VILLA and witnessed Liverpool fans first hand , not nice guys ! I was on the Holte End at Villa for the last time before they pulled it down and that was against Liverpool , Villa fans were of the opinion it was because of them that standing was outlawed !
