  1. Can I ask why Donnelly is being discussed anyway? And yes I’m aware iv’e

made 3 posts with content regarding him :-)

    Actually, make that four lol

  2. Home from a great wee trip –

Aberdour on Thursday for a sneeky wee pre-CQN Open round at Aberdour GC with TaggsyBhoy and BarassieBhoy. That was followed by a wee whisky session with jinkyredstar in the Cedar Inn.

The next day was of course the 5th Major, and I whacked around the course in the great company of Blantyre Kev and It Ain’t Half Hot Bhoy. Then came the evening, meeting Big Yogi, and being slagged off by Tam Boyd!! Great speeches from Paul67 and John Hughes.

All in all a brilliant trip to the Kingdom, and well done to the CQN Open organisers.

Is that the bit of Falkirk everyone gets done for speeding?

Naw. But when you get tae that part you wid like to be in a Chameleon Car. In any case you shouldn’t be speeding. Falkirk is best to be avoided anyhow.

Was gonni add something tae that but forgot whit it wiz…think av hid too much tae drink!

How meaningless is the second nine in a row achieved in Scotland by a former club going to be after the first 12 in a row ?

I remember being out in Glasgow one night with a girl-friend and bumping into Dougie Donnelly. She was chatting away to him and he seemed quite impressed until she said “My Mum thinks you’re great” – and his face fell.

  6. Extended highlights from the match earlier today will be on SS1 from midnight,

for anyone who hasn’t seen it.

It’s splitting hairs, but yes, 4-4-1-1 involves 5 midfielders. So we’re agreed then. No flat basin in midfield.

Goodnight troops, my keep fit regime logged in the depths of my subconscious is telling me to go for a walk and enjoy a pint.

It won’t be meaningless in two or three years time when those titles are stripped too

  11. I should have been an olympian because, when I was a kid, my mother would often tell me that I was for the high jump.

Huffed and puffed today but got the win good to hear Lenny sounding upbeat after that match .

Aberdeen parked the bus and IMO went for the draw , always hard to break down ,although too many square passes for me today Aberdeen were happy to let us play in front of them and were hoping to snatch something ,they got what they deserved ,nowt
