  1. There is another theory, and thats all it is:

We activated the year extension to get a fee for SS which so far hasnt materialised and may not and he is being frozen out, a la Bobo Balde situation (alleged), on PL’s say so, as his salary is too much for him to bear. (this isnt my theory but one mooted elsewhere on the Timternet).

Im def not a PL fan in fact i dont have anything good to say about him but i think even that is a bit tenuous

Fair enough. Can you think of another reason why he has been replaced by an untried player (lewis morgan) who so far has done nothing in the game? Incidentally, I like LM and hope he has a future but at the moment SS is obviously a far superior and more experienced player.

  2. Fair play to Brendan Rodgers for managing to convince the board to pay the £9million for Odsonne Edouard.

Technique at that free kick was unbelievable.

It’s a pity Moussa left – we would have had the best strike force in European football with those two in attack.

    “I want Chaos in Celtica”…….

…..dig oooot The Cracked Crests an’ show me ugly, snarlin’ pictures o’ thon wee rid heidit manager who will ne’er have a Christian name…………….

  4. Free agents still available

    CB:

Ashley Williams 35 – Experienced & good character for a dressing room.

Marc Wilson 32 – Experienced utility man

Adil Rami 33 – French international who was recently playing at a really high level. Has character issues which lead to Marseille cutting him loose. Got dumped by Pamela Anderson.

    Striker:

Wilfred Bony 30 – Still young enough to play. Why has his career gone off the cliff?

    Winger:

Lazar Markovic 25 – Still has a lot left in the tank. Had a good loan spell at Hull City a couple years ago. Worth a punt?

    Right Back:

Giulio Donati 29 – Played a lot of games in the Bundesliga at a good standard.

    Left Back:

Martin Olsson 31 – Experienced in the English leagues. Seems as if he was in decline.

Marcus Olsson 31 – Twin brother of Martin. Same applies.

Alex Buttner 30 – Ex-Manchester United player. Played last season at Vitesse.

Also available from Neil Lennon’s Whatsapp group:

Gary Hooper, Kelvin Wilson, Joe Ledley & Adam Matthews

I think that’s Killie putting their stake in the ground so THE DEAL realises them somewhere in that value vicinity. The best offer(s) for Greg to date reportedly were from a German 2nd divi team who offered half a mill.

Think we paid 1.2 for Jack Hendry from Dundee when a non-international.

So in all likelihood, $1.5 plus Jack, Tony or Calvin? Didnt we do them a favour by letting Mulumbu go back?

GREG TAYLOR – worth £3m being quoted?

    Thoughts?

    ___

I’d rather sign Meling at that price. Taylor doesn’t appear to be going anywhere else so we could go back for him in 12 months if either Meling or Boli doesn’t work out.

I havent given it much thought, but if there is any semblance of truth to it then its disgraceful that a bean counter has influence over team matters.

Think you’re right – sounds like an opening gambit. Can’t see us paying that for him. Maybe offer another player as part of any deal. However, if we’re looking for quality we might be better spending a bit more and looking elsewhere?

Agree with that – seems like a better value proposition

  10. Sinclair for sure offers more than Morgan, who has never done anything in a Celtic shirt. He’s basically a better looking Jonny Hayes, neither of them are Celtic class.

Obviously being frozen out for not moving to get rid of his salary. Barking mad and as someone said earlier reminiscent of the Bobo Balde situation.

Play your best team Lenny and don’t hurt the team on the orders of the CEO

They really were a shower of cheating banguras – they’d obviously been sent out to try and get a red or a pen or knew the ref was fallible – the ref had had enough with 20 mins to go
